Haha, so remember alllllllll the way back when I originally planned for Splintershard to be the root of an entire series with multiple prequels and sequels?

Well, since that obviously didn't happen, I figured I'd try and integrate some things into the final chapters of Splintershard regardless. It's more than a little loredump-y at times, but I feel that it gives a good, proper explanation as to why Sunset Shimmer is the way she is as seen in the past few chapters.

In other words, there's a whole Equestria Girls AU hiding in the shadows of Splintershard's waning chapters :P

Anyway this is working out to be a beefy chapter I believe.
