As always, I'm feeling a bit badly for leaving people in the lurch for longer than a week- or a month- so I thought I'd check in and let everyone know I'm not dead.
...Though, I feel a bit like it. Progress would probably be faster- sitting at 5k words- but I'm just not doing so hot at the moment. I get like this fairly often, though, so I know it'll pass. I just don't know when, and so I thought I'd preface whatever length of time is about to follow with an apology.
Psh, I can't even muster a humorous tone to mask my obvious dearth of energy. It's all alright, though; don't worry about me. Just know that I'm around and probably putting a few hundred words down a day.
So, have a good day. Or week, or however long until the next time I see you. 
Well, if you were dead but still able to write, that would only mean you don't need to worry about bodily functions.
Good that you don't turn it into a job. Also, I want it yesterday. But don't rush. Are we there yet?
Aren't you a little ho(a)rse? I always imagine so...
Maybe you should get that checked.
Perhaps you should eat your beans. I always tell everyone when they complain about a lack of energy, because I assume they eat a lot of grass called "wheat". It always works, except when it doesn't.
Well. I guess I have to wait harder, So I can read.
