Angel Midnight

maybe in a world of odd people and odd things, I'm not so odd after all. But who knows. (they/them)

My mental health is kind of up and down at the moment. Feels like I take one step forwards and three steps back every time I try to "sort myself out."

One of my cats seems to be sick. He's thrown up four times in the last two and a half hours. Three of those times it was on my bedroom floor.

After being woken up by my cat being ill, the insomniac thoughts kicked in. You know, the ones where you relive mistakes and start asking yourself random questions about the world you live in and panic about things that are completely irrelevant like what you're going to buy your family members for Christmas.

I'm currently sitting in the living room, in a corner of the room that seems to be safe from the leak that's dripping down from the ceiling. My family called the plumber yesterday, but it's got worse since he left. It's pretty much raining indoors. We've turned off the cold water supply to the house and my mum and I have used some of our remaining cold water in the kettle to make hot chocolate. We've had a rough night.

I'm alive, and things aren't as bad as they could be, but yeah. I've had three hours' sleep, I've been cleaning up cat vomit all night and I can't have a bath or shower even when everyone in the house is awake. And, uh... how are you?

Thanks. Much needed.

Well shit, life sucks sometimes.

I hope your cat recovers, I'd be worried too if my cat got sick as well...

Nonetheless, I'm sure everything will bounce back up and go back to normal...ish (idk)

That doesn't sound pleasant... sorry about that, Angel. I'm not sure what to say besides... try to stay strong. It gets better. I promise.

I hope you're asleep now, catching the rest you need.

I saw that new profile pic and sensed Some things…
Hope things hope well for you. Having a good sleep helps with many anxiety issues.
And tomorrow will always be a new day.

*hugs*

I once saw written on a wall, Life is like riding a bicycle.

It'll be hard at times, but we're all here to support you.

I hope your cat recovers... And that you're able to get the sleep you need.
