okay, since i guess i'm already full-steam ahead on fractures, how would yall like the mlp adaptation-slash-maybe-crossover(?) to go?

I've got my mind on Fractures still, and I figured that I'd might as well ask yall what you'd prefer. The basic idea I've got going is, much like Fractures itself, effectively an isekai-style story, where the characters are unexpectedly flung into equestrian (or some alternate plane of existence) that's wholly foreign to their own. Meanwhile, their very transportation to this other world sets off a chain-reaction of destabilization that eventually threatens to destroy all of both realities. Currently, I intend to write the story with a focus on the Equestria Girls world versus Equestria itself, though I'm still not entirely sure how I'll work that out yet.

so, I suppose, pick your poison. the farther down the list goes, the closer things get to fractures as it currently exists. regardless of choice, fractures here on fimfic will be lagging behind the original fiction version of fractures since it relies on the original as a framework. and as is tradition I'll probably inadvertently add an OC that turns out to be yet another Gadget/Zoey

1. straight adaptation with MLP themes, follows mainly canon characters

   events, characters, and setting are minimally modified to fit within the canon of MLP/EqG. there would still certainly be some MAJOR differences given how things such as character dynamics and background lore would be entirely different, so it's not just a name-swapped version of the existing original fiction content

2. fish out of watercanon (effectively pony-me style)

   use canon characters but introduce locations, themes, lore, etc. in scenarios that said characters would've never been in canon, alongside building up additional characterization where it didn't exist before

3. splintershard-style

   effectively one step removed from original fiction. canon MLP still exists, but is extensively built upon with OCs and new lore instead of being used as-is

man, this feels awkward. legit I feel almost like I'm starting all over again on fimfic at this point
