Next chapter is going SLOWLY D:< + [sneak peek] · 3:10pm Jul 18th, 2023
I really don't have anything profound to say; I just wanted to throw an update out there. For a while, progress was going really great- until it suddenly wasn't. I don't know if the specific section of the chapter is throwing me off or if I'm just going through another drought, but I'm consistently finding myself staring, dumbstruck, at a page that's empty from the waist down. Like... a pent-up teenager. 
This is just par for the course, of course, but I felt badly about how long this is taking, so I thought I should just put it out there that the next chapter is definitely constantly underway. It's at 11k words and I'm still averaging 1k words a day- I'm putting the time in- but that's not always on this specific chapter, and it's not always very good.
I suppose... since I do feel so badly, maybe I can give you a sneak peek at an upcoming scene. Just a small excerpt- think of it as an appetizer- to whet your appetite until I kick myself out of this rut. Don't expect the actual chapter to contain this word for word; it may yet be edited around, but I think it's decently titillating as it is.
Have a read of this, and know that the next chapter is always in progress. 
"Light Flow isn't dead!"
It might've just been her shoulders finally going numb, but in the moments after her shout that brought the simmering silence to a crashing end, the air seemed to chill above her.
Gradually, she peeked an eye open, and it was just then that the weight on her shoulders lessened, allowing her to readily push herself up against Their hooves and throw frazzled glances between the Sisters. The both of them staring at her in... mostly confusion, but some definite shock.
The shock and confusion were more of Princess Celestia's expression, though, and even that fell away in trepidation as Princess Luna's bemused face slowly turned down into a cold leer. Bon Bon certainly held her breath, and she had to wonder if Her Highness was as well.
"You lie."
Writing daily is very respectable, even if it is the same chapter.
Looks like it is back to Bon Bon, too.
Maybe you could write something on the necromancer's side story to help with the drought.

Gosh, Screw, you're trying to get me to write even more filler? I know you're a longtime fan and well used to suffering my meandering, but even you must be antsy to see the plot advance.
