Why’s Twilight Sparkle on the list?

Because I not always a big fan of Twilight ever since I started watching FIM and the later seasons (Mostly Season 6, 8 and 9) and G5 made me dislike Twilight even more.

Ironically, it’s another reason as to why I have an intense dislike towards G5.
The new series basically butchered Twilight’s character in favor of its questionable morals, direction, and setting. And now, on top of their bland personalities and forgettable characteristics, it’s also become a reason for why I’m not a fan of G5’s main characters.

Well, I do like the Main 5, But I agree that I don't like the fact that G4 and G5 are connect since it ruin Twilight character and most of G4 lore
Till this day, I still believe that G5 should have been it own thing.

It would’ve been way better if the two MLP franchises were kept completely separate from one another, because no matter how much Hasbro has been trying to connect the two series, I couldn’t see how they were part of the same universe at all. I mean, I can’t be the only one who noted the pony design differences between the two series, right? Or the differences in settings?

It's the reason I simply can not see the new show as related. It's only Conected in name and whatever they feel like cramming in there it seems. Would have been better off being It's own thing. We have multiverses in the comics and with the Equestria Girls show... I dont see why this couldn't have been one and they had a crossover once in a while... or a movie like with Equestria Girls...

When i first saw this happening the reason I saw was they wanted to appease fans by making sure to keep G4 connected and therefore canon, but just separate enough they could do whatever they wanted with it...
But when people kept asking "how the hay did all this happen?" They had to shovel Twilight in there to explain it.
Also, again, I feel Neighsay had a decent character arc and redemption. He wasn't a bad guy, just paranoid. Most enemies ponies face are non-ponies. He changed after just one negative interaction with a pony and a positive interaction with non-ponies.
