Well, there go my plans tomorrow. · 5:23am Apr 28th, 2023

Maybe I'll actually buckle down and get some writing done...

Maybe. Perhaps.

Who needs a smooth experience to have fun?

But I wouldn't say no to more words to read.

Hearing the issue is on all systems :twilightoops:

I've heard it's mostly the cutscenes that suffer... but yeah, it's not sounding good for anyone without an absolute top end system.

You could play it on consoles

Which game is this?

STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor

Ah. Well, these sorts of things are the reason I don't buy games on release day anymore; they often appear on store platforms unfinished and with optimisation issues and bugs that somehow slipped through playtesting.

Stuff like this is why I don't brother with a lot of AAA titles.

Only console I have is a PS4 Pro.

Well said. Indie stuff is more my scene now.

There are YouTubers tearing into this game, and recommend playing the older Star Wars titles.

Play KOTOR and KOTOR II. Best Star Wars games ever made.

Currently playing Diablo 2 Resurrected (never played the original), and a bullet hell game called Yuki on the Quest 2.

I’ve been playing on my laptop (rtx 2070, 32gb ram and intel core 7 processor) and while there are moments of slow down and stuttering, it hasn’t been bad and I’ve not had a crash. Heck, the game is set to high setting across the graphic’s board too and it’s not bad.

So I say give it a try yourself before writing it off as you may be a lucky one to get good gameplay out of it like I did.

Not willing to take a $70 bet on being one of the few lucky ones.
