A small allusion

I made a subtle allusion in "Volunteer Day." Perhaps too subtle; I don't think anyone caught it.

Sweetie nodded nervously and fidgeted with her Firefly lunchbox.

I didn't do anything with that later, and most writers are aware of conservation of detail, yes?

...or did I do something with it?

Well, what are hospital volunteers like Sweetie?

Also, Firefly is G1 Rainbow Dash (eg. the G1 pony toy that Faust used for what we now know as G4 Rainbow Dash). Her signature double-inside-out loop is also, judging from the onlookers' heads, what RD put herself into the hospital trying to do back in Read It and Weep. Making G4 Firefly a historical personage and Mal expy is therefore obligatory.
