She could have just taken the crystals and run with them.
Why would she even try to steal them? Opaline wants more magic, not less. If she took the crystal, the magic would disappear.
"They tried to steal the crystals. What do they want? Could it be that they want the crystals? No..."
Misty is right, the glass could actually fall out like that. The matter is in an undetermined state. We only see it on one spot because there's the most probability that that's where it will be, but there is a chance of quantum teleportation.

Hasbro stole one of the best fanfictions and turned it into G5. Yes, the implementation is shit, but don't blame it on the source material of Fallout: Equestria.
I struggle with hands even more than AI does.
Krystal likes to be all native-like, but when she gets into an advanced spaceship, she's told that her fur could cause a short circuit in one of the advanced electronics. In order to avoid that, she's presented with a furtight bodysuit that would keep her fur isolated. Obviously, she'd never even touch that prison of clothes in a million years, but she has very little choice since she does have business being on the spaceship...
I'm pretty sure by this point that Opaline doesn't just "Proyect" herself through talisman. But she is partially transported there. We might need confirmation.
However I just loved an assertive Misty.

I honestly hope that she becomes the main Villain of the serie, everything is aligned for that to happen, and seeing her more assertive push forward this expectative.
5721874 That would be amazing! Misty wants her cutie mark, and when Opaline finally gets her magic back, Misty takes it all. For the first time in her life, she's trully powrful. She still fails at everything, though.
And Opaline, drained of all her magic, comes knocking on the door of Mane 5 for help.
This needs to become canon!
