Woohoo! Let's give it up for two years of waiting for Necromancy! 
What a day to be alive. I can't believe it's already been two years- and 350k words- since I started writing! It's a totally surreal feeling to have, that I've actually accomplished something. That, for two years now, I've been making something. It's a really special feeling, and I owe much of my continuation of this avocation to you, my loyal readers. I like writing well enough, but it's the thought that people are reading what I'm writing that keeps me coming back.
So, what would a celebration be without an actual celebration! In honor of the holiday, I'm very proud- and a little frightened- to present to you my hard-fought commemoration of this day! If you haven't already clicked that link I just shoved in your face, please find that it takes you to a wonderful collection of drafts of chapter 40!
...Why is everyone booing?
In all seriousness, I worked very hard to consolidate nearly every draft I could find of Light and NMM's lengthy interaction into a single, well-formatted collection. It's not everyone's cup of tea to read these drafts- some of them are kinda rough- but I think you'll agree, at least, that it's a worthy celebration of the day. Featuring some behind-the-scenes notes from me and some very interesting plot points I dropped over time: I'm sure The Stereotypical Drafts will tickle your fancy for at least a little while.
Still, if old drafts of scenes you've long since forgotten about aren't your speed, then take solace that the next actual chapter of the story is coming soonish. I haven't had much opportunity to write for a few days now, which is why the next chapter still isn't here, but it is mostly done. It's missing an ending and some polish, but overall, it's ready to go.
No matter your preference, know that I'm here on the day of TSN's anniversary! Whether you want to ask me questions, ask me why the next chapter isn't out yet, or just plain belittle me for being who I am, I welcome it!
