March Blog: And The Third Time Makes It Tradition · 7:12pm Mar 4th, 2023
Well, it's been an eventual February. A new review on one of my stories, the launch of a new longfic, my first baffling brush with Equestria Daily...
Launching The Long Eventide when I did, I wasn't expecting to garner that much in the way of readers for my works. I'm pretty much the definition of "late to the party," writing fanfic at series' end, well past the early 2010s and the whirlwind of the fandom at its height. But at the same time, this is a situation I'm most comfortable writing in, as the story would look very different if I'd launched it back when Luna Eclipsed actually aired. I have a full toolbox of show, movie, spinoffs, and comics to blend together in my own take on the universe, instead of grasping around in the dark and getting smacked in the face with the newest episode like a wayward wrench.
I write primarily because these are the stories I want to tell, but watching this Verse come together and slowly find its audience feels good. So all of you, whether it was the bigger stories or the smaller ones, the contests or reviews, or whatever else that brought you all here... thank you. Truly. I hope to keep entertaining you all.
And now, before I get into my plans, it's stats time again.

For those unfamiliar with Magic: the Gathering, rest assured that it's a cool and perfectly balanced card with no exploits.
