Happy Birthday, Tara Strong

Today is Tara Strong's birthday, she's turning 50 years old. We all know her as the talent woman behind the voice of Twilight Sparkle for FiM, as well as such iconic roles as Bubbles from Powerpuff Girls, Raven from Teen Titans, Timmy Turner from The Fairly Odd Parents (and later Timmy's fairy baby brother Poof), Batgirl/Barbra Gordon from The New Batman Adventures onward to many reprisals, Harley/Dr. Harleen Quinzel in all Batman Arkham games except for Arkham Asylum, and the titular hero in Ben 10.

Recently, a test pilot has revealed that Tara originally auditioned for the roles of Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash in addition to Twilight Sparkle. She was actually supposed to be Pinkie Pie originally, but Lauren Faust insisted on shifting Tara to Twilight and the rest is history. She has also reprised the role of Twilight for G5, though as of yet the in-universe role has been brief and very limited.

Happy birthday, Tara! You've had a wonderful, prolific voice acting career. And I hope you continue to be blessed with many more voice acting roles for many, many years to come.
