February Important Update! · 4:24am Feb 9th, 2023
Hey guys, it's me, Midnight Blitzer, and as you can tell, I still haven't uploaded a single chapter as of late.
While I thought the main reason would be due to time, the truth is that I've become demotivated to continue writing. And while I have tried to continue, it's only today that the thought of deleting/unsubmitting/canceling/hiatus my stories has finally hit my mind.
This is not the first time I've deleted stories, in fact there were a bunch of stories I tried to make before I deleted them all due to overwhelming myself. And I feel I am on the verge of doing something similar.
Do not worry! Any story I have completed will be saved! The only stories at risk of no longer being updated are the ones that aren't incomplete. These are:
Let Our Values Endure (Midnight's Backstory)
What Do You Mean We Can't Eat Nuts!? (NNN Meme Story)
The Equestrian Manhunt (Dream SMP)
Just Adore Me (Clop Story)
I have my own reasons for pulling down these stories, and I plan to revive one of these. However, I feel that if I don't do this soon, I will never be able to write anything else here in Fimfiction.
In other words, no, I am not leaving this site, nor am I saying that I quit writing stories. I am just saying that I want to start off clean with no stories to worry about, and from there I should hopefully be able to get back to writing. I will most likely write a T-Rated Story, as doing another M-Rated Story sounds like it would lead me to repeat this situation again.
I may try to use Fanfiction in the future as a testing ground for future story ideas, but as of now, I will be unsubmitting all of my incomplete stories, and hopefully I will get enough time to begin working on a new story or reviving an old one. I don't know, I feel exhausted.
Hope you guys understand, and I hope you guys stick around with me long enough to see me begin publishing again.

Usually when I ended up stuck on a story, I'd rush to the finish and wrap it up. I particularly like LOVE, so it's a shame to lose it, but do what's best for you.

LOVE was the type of story that would be about 100 chapters, so I couldn't really rush to the finish.
The short and long description of the story no longer fits among other things, so I plan to rewrite or make a new story with different direction.

Or at least that's how imagined the length of the story would be. Basically very long, which is why it's kind of good that I'm changing things now instead of much later.
I was about to work on a new story before this whole thing, but that also had its goal shift from the original description. So I couldn't work on that either.
Currently wondering how to rewrite LOVE and what scenes to keep, change, or discard.
Eh, I’ve been sitting on ‘Knight’s Undoing’ for years now and not once felt any motivation to go back. Times change and interest marches on, but in still dedicated to finishing this tale before I go onto the ones I’m really interested in telling.
Hopefully, you’ll find one that’s parks the same joy.
Relatable man. I'll try to get back in the swing of it too! I'm planning to announce my return with an update to my personal favorite story.

i do believe if you ever feel like this again, maybe the best idea is to take a break from writing at all. do something else, explore life and other aspects of it. that is sure to give you inspiration, and if it doesnt then maybe writing is just not for you anymore. do realize that you are an amazing writer and it would be a shame if you stopped writing, but eventually all good things must come to an end.
