State of the Writer, January 2023! · 1:52am Feb 1st, 2023
Hot damn, how is it already the end of January? :O
Quite an eventful month it's been for me! :) See previous blogs for why.
And yet, despite all this, I did get a smidgen more writing put into Transitions. Didn't quite finish the scene, not sure if I want to at this point or go over a little more ground, but it's still progress.
Actually, I think I do want to finish the scene. <.< Maybe I should do that.
But unfortunately, along with moving into a new apartment, my time is now taken up with both taking care of myself (I almost have a skin care regimen now!) and trying to unpack the countless boxes that still fill my living room. x_x There are so many boxes. So much stuff. What is wrong with me.
Next month, I get to start b u d g e t i n g
That's why I bought a house. Got tired of moving stuff around, now I've got a backyard I can fill with junk cars.
Oh God, adulting. Worst thing ever.
Adulting sucks :(
Glad to see the optimism!

I do not ever want to have to do my own yardwork
Here I am doing my maybe-once-a-month scan of my fimfic feed, and once again I’ve gone and missed something big . I wish you all the best with everything, belated as it may be

and thank you!
Ahhh I almost forgot to ask, what's your skin care regimen? Good luck with the move and the budgeting!

haha oh boy
Note: I do not offer this as advice, because I have no idea what I'm doing. We start after getting out of the shower.
FIRST! I have been doing a lot of shaving lately. For reasons. Whatever gets shaved gets aloe gel. Possibly also cortisone cream if it's got those little red bumpies from fucking up.
SECOND! I have weird, rough elbows, so I use a generic skin cream with ammonium lactate on those. I invariably dispense too much for each elbow, so the remainder goes on weird, rough patches on my legs.
But my primary thing is I just slather Udder Cream on whatever I can reach. :B I also have this stuff called Eucerin? That I sometimes use on my hands. That, I do offer as advice, it's really good for dry skin and I need to remember to use it more often.

Hey I'm no expert either, most I do is use some lotion on my face after washing it or in general after a shower. I get the increase in shaving, it's a big pain but I hope the aloe is helping it work out for you, I'll have to try it. For a while after I had covid I had some fucked up cracked skin on the back of my hands and I used some Cerave rough skin specific stuff for it, it cleared up after a while. Is Udder Cream some kind of brand? I can't say I've ever heard of it.

I think the brand is actually "Udderly Smooth", it comes in cow-spotted white tubes. My family just always called it udder cream. :B
I've been using Cetaphil on my face in the shower. I have no idea if it's doing anything special, but I guess I don't hate it? It looks kind of like, and is generally shelved next to, CeraVe, which is why I mention it.
