Operation recover
As Twilight contemplated, the portal from Miami opened up behind the castle of friendship as SWAT and FBI agents jumped on the ground. Due to the pre training, and after crawling like imbeciles for the past 1 hour, they easily recognized themselves to stand on four legs as the last two units came out of the portal with a case full of weapons.
"Alright men listen up! This is a in and out operation! Anyone who questions who we are, you are identified yourselves as apart of a new intelligence division! Or something."
As the Head FBI agent spoke Twilight peeked behind the curtains to find a big group of agents gathering weapons and preparing for a search, fearing that they are the ones that the Crickey person warned about, she quickly picked up the USB and the letter and Spike, and gunned it for the door.
"TWILIGHT WHERE ARE WE GOING! WHATS GOING ON!" Spike shouted in confusion as wind gusted in his face.
"THEY'RE HERE! THEY CAME FOR THE USB!" Twilight answered which Spike went dumbfounded.
"SO THEY DO CARE ABOUT THIS THING! QUICK WE GOTTA GET-"
"NO TIME SPIKE! WE HAVE TO GET TO THE ROYAL GUARD GARRISON!" Twilight shouted which Spike nodded rapidly as the two ram the door open.
Meanwhile the FBI and SWAT agents head to the insides of the Castle of Friendship as the head orders.
"HURRY UP MEN! WE HAVE 30 MINUTES! OR WE'LL BE SEEING BLUE HELMETS GET ALL OVER THIS ENTIRE TOWN!" The head shouted as the agents replied.
"SIR! IT'S NOT HERE!"
"Yea! And there is only useless knowledge here!"
"Sir what do you mean by Blue helmets?"
"STILL CAN'T FIND THE USB SIR!"
As the head agent scoffs a bit, he gets worried that they'll be too late before the United Nations gets involved and when that happens he fears it might spark a international incident that could start a planetary war.
However that's when he heard stomping and charging sounds behind him as he turned around to find a battalion of guards lead by a purple Alicorn princess, who isn't happy.
"BY THE ORDER OF THE PRINCESS YOU'RE TO CEASE EVERYTHING HERE AND LEAVE THIS PLACE AND DON'T COME BACK!" Shouted the royal guard head which the head agent looked at him sternly and assertive.
"LISTEN HERE MR. "I AM A ROMAN" I AIN'T WASTING OUR TIME HERE EXPLAINING STUFF! WE ARE ON A MISSION TO COLLECT A USB BY THE ORDER OF THE-"
The Agent head is pointed by spears by guards as the SWAT and FBI agents returned the gesture and pointed their rifles at the guards which both sides goes in a state of stand off.
"President..."
"I know you are lying! We've received a note that said otherwise!" Twilight said as she landed infront of the agent head. With a letter with Crickey's imprint. The Agent sees then letter and realizes that Crickey wasn't informed about this operation. DAMMIT MIND! I HATE IT WHEN IT GOES BLANK WHEN YOU WERE GONNA ASK SOMEONE IMPORTANT!
Anyways, realizing that he could start a war with the word fire, and a misunderstanding, he and his group is gonna have to surrender... But then he thought again, if he surrendered and the UN came in the world it might start a war anyways! Without a trump card or an option ...
Its a lose-lose situation...
"Alright... We'll surrender." The Agent head said as he grabbed his pistol and weapons and dropped them on the ground. The agents in confusion, eventually followed suit and dropped their rifles as well.
Twilight was severely confused, and so was the guards. Other beings from the other world, which was high advanced, surrendered? Twilight started to think, but as this was going on the guards escorted the surrendered agents out of the castle.
Twilight exited the castle and her friends ran up towards her.
"GREAT CELESTIA ARE YOU ALRIGHT!" Rarity shouted in concerned.
"Are you alright Twi!? We've heard what was going on here!" Applejack expressed.
"WHERE'S THE FIGHT! I'LL TAKE THEM ALL ON!" Rainbow dash yelled looking around for some ass kicking.
"I'm alright... But I have a strange feeling...." Twilight concerned.
"Feeling about what?" Rainbow dash asked.
"I have a feeling that... I may have started something..."
Vanhoover
"And that's where we'll make our assualt here, around this bridge. If we can take the Vanhoover-Grande river bridge, we'll be able to secure a breach head, assuming the bridge is not ridden with explosives, Me and Luke along with other soldiers will make our way across the bridge first."
James started to explain the plan to the officer staff while they wrote down notes.
So far the plan was to secure the bridge, secure a beach head, and start a combine assualt on the city. It was after James realized the communist forces has a sizable army to block all exits and so a refugee evacuation would be a suicide for both refugees and his manpower.
As he continued to plan though, a private comes in the room.
"COMMANDER SIR!" He saluted.
"At ease, what is it?" James asked as he stepped away for a moment.
"SIR! CAPTAIN SHINING ARMOR OF THE ROYAL GUARD IS LANDING HERE AS WE SPEAK!" The private informed which made James widen.
"WOJAK! TAKE OVER THE MEETING!" James shouted as he ran out of the temporary command vehicle.
Wojak looked at the officers in the room and said.
"Anyone like to know about horses?"
James got out of the forward base of operations as the outside was full of trench like warfare.
Ponified human soldiers chatted, some digged trenches, some even fiddled with their rifles a bit, while some had even chatted to the native Equestrian royal guards who were deployed for defense missions. (In case Shuzon launched a assualt) As conversations go, foals and colts would go up to the tanks with drawings and amazement, while some who are older actually offered to take some of the on-duty soldiers for a cider run. Though they'd be rejected as the siege was going on in Vanhoover.
James looked to the skies when he spotted the royal chariot, that's being escorted by a mix of Equestrian and Crystal pegasus guards, as it comes to a landing the Pegasus guards, both Crystal and Equestrian, looked around their surroundings to guard their head captain of the royal guards.
Shining armor steps out of the chariot to look at the scenery of trenches, tanks, mobilized/mechanized weaponry, and the huge metal things. Wait what? He would think.
"Shining armor! I see you've decided to come here on time." James interrupted Shining's dumbfoundment.
"Well, I have to fight for Equestria, it's my moral duty after all." Shining spokes as the purple armor shined in James face.
"Yea... Try not to get shot with your armor while your at it..." James said annoyingly.
Shining Armor rolled his eyes at him and opened his mouth to a rebuttal but decided to save it.. For now... Instead he wanted to ask.
"I heard from the pegasus scouts that they met up with your navy, they had a conversation with your men at sea and reported that they were heading to Vanhoover but not fire upon it? Why was that?" Shining asked.
"Well... After looking around for holes, crevasse, or a single sewage line, I found that there was no escape for the refugees and realizing this we couldn't afford both civilian and military casualties. So seeing that the only option is to assualt and liberate the city itself... We had decided to keep the naval fleet back as back up." James explained which the white purple armored stallion nodded.
"Well.. What's the plan?" He asked.
"Well then.. Lemme tell you about it."
