Yup, that just about sums it up. I mean, you got Snowflake, Cloud Chaser, Thunderlane, and that lovable rogue Rainbow Dash all flyin' 'round 'n 'round fer a whole episode. Oh, and Snowflake is totally just flexing at Cloud Chaser right before Spitfire shows up. Just. Flexing. That's not important though. What is important is that we're getting some development on the Wonderbolts side of things. A week long training camp for Wonderbolts? I would assume it's some sort of pre-koalafication sort of thing. You need to pass the training regiment at least once before you officially try out for the Wonderbolts or something like that... or maybe it's a summer camp... NO, I'm going with prequalification.

Also, Spitfire. Spitfire... autographing pictures of Soarin' all day in her office... oooooooookay! Otherwise, she's more developed than we saw before. Very believable. We will be seeing more of her for sure, and this is a nice shadow of things to come. RD and SF on good terms. NOW ONTO THE NEXT SEGMENT, MAGGOTS.

Please tell me I'm not alone when I say I really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, want the ponies RD was training with (sans Lightning Dust maybe...) to be her Wonderbolt Squad. That's mostly just because I want to see more Snowflake shenanigins, BUT HAY who doesn't?

I keep hearing people griping about no Derpy either. Yes, I do scan the backgrounds for her myself, but it ain't some sort of travesty when she doesn't show up. This is a TV show, not "Where's Waldo". And her not showing up doesn't mean Hasbro or the people working on the show are worried about the negative connotations she holds, I think it just means they didn't put her in the episode. That's it, so STOP WHINING AND GIVE ME TWENTY.

Also... I have watched the scene where Rainbow Dash is observing the other pegasi "busting" clouds... take a good look at what they're all doing. It's pretty fricken' hilarious. (EVERYPONY WAS KUNG FU FIGHTING).

Anywho,

I thought Magic Duel was gonna be my favorite Episode from this season, but then this episode comes along and is all like "I'll be your favorite episode period." And I was all, "Nice". I loved it, far too much. I refuse to watch any more episodes because everything will just disappoint from this point on. ... Okay, maybe it wasn't that good, but I still loved it.

Oh, and one more thing,

I have already seamlessly incorporated the canon implications of this episode into my plans for Taboo because I'm basically a genius.
