    No, don't get me wrong, I'm not suicidal.

    The thing is... this morning, I fell ill. It was probably a couple days ago when it actually started, but despite repeated measuring, I didn't have a fever. That changed last night- my temperature shot from normal to a moderate fever overnight, left me with no energy to anything when I got up.

    So, we now have The Girl who Didn't Just Live Chapter 22 live. It was an absolute nightmare to rewrite, I can tell you- it took a small eternity to make sure there was actually a reason for Hailey to resurrect her mother. Not her father, though, that part ended up getting dropped from the chapter... yet it still grew by a thousand words or so.

The Girl who Disappeared... rewrite but no backlog. · 6:15pm Dec 15th, 2022

Hai.

I just threw up the rewrite for The Girl who Disappeared Chap. 9... then went on to inspect the old Chap. 31 for publication. Unfortunately, said Chap. 31 introduces a whole new character (for the old, at least) in a rather bad way, then basically ignores them, and... No. Just no, it's not going up until it's fully rewritten. It's just... It's just so bad that I can't stand to publish it, even as an "old version" and even with me constantly commenting on it being bad.

So... sorry. But hey, Chap. 9 is exactly 9,000 words according to Google- though FimFiction thinks its.... OVER 9,000!

... At 9,001.
