A Decision Needs to be Made · 6:43am Dec 11th, 2022

Hello Everypony, ScarFox9700 here

Recently, a number of you have been asking me about what's been going on with all of my stories, and why I haven't produced anything in a long time. Well, aside from my work, and hectic home life, I've been trying to do too much at once. I've been trying to write Chapter 6 of "Texas: A Time to Fight!", as well as getting "Tale of 2 Big Boys" ready for publication, as well as another project with a good friend of mine. And I've realized that I need to pick a project, finish it, and then get the other one ready. But that leaves me with the question, which one? This is where I leave it to all of you. Which one do you want first?

Do you want me to finish Chapter 6 of "Texas: A Time to Fight!"? (It's about 40% complete right now)

Or do you want me to finally fulfill my Promises, and finally release "Tale of 2 Big Boys", the VERY long-awaited next story in the Battleship Express Saga? (The Prologue, and Chapters 1-2 are all done, and Chapter 3 is about 30% complete. The story can be published right now (after a few final checks for mistakes/editing), and I can continue working on Chapter 3 while you enjoy what's been written so far)

So, my Dear Readers, which one do you want? Do you want me to keep working on "Texas" Chapter 6? Or do you finally want to read the opening parts of "To2BB", and it's Chapter 3, which would be coming soon? I'll leave it up to you

Edit: I'm finally done, but please don't delete this, or eerily block me. I want you to read this fully, before responding back please.

And hopefully that I won't offended you in the end, then I'm sorry to say all of this. But, I have to finally show my true feelings.

As much as I used to like your old Battleship Express Saga. Emphasis on liked.

Honestly, I kinda didn't like how it was going, so far. With the recent story all about the stupid time travel shenanigans mess up the present timeline.

Having Rainbow, Spitfire, and Daring broke up with our main wolf/bat protagonist for no good reason, other then unnecessary plot drama/pointless sadness which I DON'T want in the first place!?

( At least Marty Mcfly from Back to the Future, properly fixed his horrible mistakes and the dark timeline the right way. But, our human/furry hybrids DIDN'T even fix this stupid timeline problem, and forcefully end up with a dreaded cliffhanger!? )

Look, our wolf/bat protagonist had been through enough crap in his previous life as it is, and doing this to him in his most happy time from the original timeline was rather a big dick move in my opinion. No offense.

Plus, I didn't say anything negative or criticize your Battleship Express saga from long ago, but I want to finally give off my chest about the other problems too, after these many years.

Firstly, having futa, toxic misanthrope and misandry felines being the "villains/enemy" on the post apocalyptic earth!? Then letting them "WIN" by the Earth being completely destroyed and humanity being "nonexistent" anymore. Since our protagonists are just wolf furries or bat furries was rather a huge WTF moment for me back then.

( This is like a twisted and ugly Monster Girls Encyclopedia and Fallout deformed baby!? )

I may be a furry myself. But, reading your take on this mess up post-apocalyptic earth and "WW5" was just...........:twilightoops: :pinkiesick:
:facehoof: :ajbemused:

Secondary, forcing the entire African Americans to be "evil" too, just to make a lazy excuse to put them as the "enemy" for WW4!!??

And not only that, but your "heroic" protagonists are forced to kill every black person on earth, in rather KKK-inspired costumes!!!??? And in the end, you say that this isn't racist!?

Sorry if I accuse you for this, but can you blame me ( Or anybody else in the comments )
IF they seen this for the first time, and NOT expect us of accusing you being very sus of "not being racist" for making that blasphemous chapter of WW4.

When you thought of this. What do you really is think is going to happened? And not expect to be really offensive!?

( You know, you COULD have just went with the old "evil alien empire" trope this whole time? Or have "Evil Nazis returning" or Zombies scenarios. Because those alternate ways is obviously way less offensive and less disgusting on getting rid of the toxic feminist futas or unrealistic "evil" African American empire propaganda entirely. )

And IF that wasn't "bad" enough. Thirdly, you made the main wolf/bat protagonist to be not only being a total sex slave and having a "affair" with the literal leader of the futa feline freaks!? ( But having a daughter too!? How does that even work!? )

And then, he is now frickin gay with Sombra of all ponies!!!???

( Look, I DON'T have a problem with homosexuality or trans. I don't like to be offensive or a hate offender. )

Also, while seeing our wolf/bat protagonist being bisexual does make feel mixed with it, but I kinda got over that.

The real problem I have is with that FUTA Feline Bitch, AND Sombra. Seriously, Sombra is like a parody of Hitler and Stalin. And that Futa cat bitch isn't any better either.

And you forcefully made our wolf/bat protagonist to fall in love with these jerks!?

Why!!!???

It's like seeing Dr. Jekyll is falling in love with Mr. Hyde, or Y/N with Freddy Krueger, or William Afton/Springtrap/Scraptrap/Burntrap, The Joker, or Pennywise. And the real kicker out of this?

Is that not only they don't reform or some cliche wattpad "good version" character. They are their evil, heartless, mass murderering selfs, but they don't truly love you back.

And guess what? A lot of people do predicted that Sombra was just using our poor wolf/bat protagonist. And that same protagonist come off as a massive moron to trust Sombra, and hopefully regrets it!

You see where I'm going with this? ( P.S. Besides, he already got Rainbow Dash, then Spitfire and Daring Do. Why should he like Sombra!? Or that Futa cat bitch in the first place? Than have a child!? )

And instead of finally killing Sombra, and also King Dainn and his loyalists. Letting them both escape and live for a sequel grab is another big can of worms that I don't like.

Continuation:

Fourtly and finally, back to the earth apocalypse. Was it really necessary to make these rather luscious war scenarios on not only a potential WW3, but a highly fictional WW4, then WW5!!?? ( Then a frickin WW6 in the grand finale!? )

This ain't Warhammer 40K with the endless war concept!!!

Sheesh, only WW1 and WW2 in real life is really bad enough as it is. Sadly, we might get WW3 in the far future. ( Hopefully with NO Nukes or post apocalypse. )

But, I highly doubt that a WW4, or even a WW5 and WW6 is even possible?

I firstly thought that having only WW3 with hostile aliens, or hostile russia/soviet, or north korea, or returning nazis, or a zombie scenario? Is just enough for a "origins" of our former human/furry battleship express dudes.

( With a slight possibly of adding WW4, BUT NOT with the "evil mustache" African American empire. And I only accept a concept of a WW5, but I DON'T want the futa toxic feminists. )

Look, I really hate to say this. But, this mess up negatives that I heavily mentioned up top, on just your own first battleship express story, then your recent time travel ridiculousness.

Those are almost just as bad as Disney's terrible Star Wars Sequel Trilogy ( Force Awakens is actually okay. The other two, not so much. ), or what happened to Halo 5: Guardians.

And I'm a hard-core Star Wars and Halo fan to boot.

So obviously, I will pick the new US Texas Battleship story to be updated. And luckily, that one is a rather good story ( So far. Hopefully, you don't butcher this one too. ).

That's the only positive I have to say.

Again, sorry that I hurt you or anything. But, I want to express these criticisms/negatives that I want to finally reveal after all these years.

I would pick Texas: A Time to Fight

But that leaves me with the question, which one? This is where I leave it to all of you. Which one do you want first?

it is time to sit down and relax clear your mind and in time your muse will point you in the right direction.

never force your muse just allow it to do what it wants you to do.

I would choose Texas A Time To Fight

Texas a time to fight is my choice.

Texas đź‘Ťđź‘Ťđź‘Ťđź‘Ť

“Texas: A Time to Fight” please :scootangel:.

Don’t worry, if I want to make a comment on your other stories, I’ll do them there instead of here :rainbowlaugh:.

I do realize that you didn't respond back to what I said on heavily critique your Battleship Express series on where it was going last year.

If you finally do, I hope there's no hard feelings between us.

5742944
You.........heavily critiqued my Battleship Express Series? Where did you do this at? I genuinely don't remember this

5742947

........The two long comments at the very bottom in this particular blog, back in December 2022.

I have tell my true personal feelings on how this Battleship Express series was going. I did once liked this old series, but due to multiple reasons. My personal opinion has greatly changed, sadly.

No hard feelings or anything negative against ya.

But don't worry, USS Texas story is doing good so far.

5742949
Oh. Yeah, now I remember this. I think I saw it, made a note of it, but then got tied up with something, and forgot about it. Eventually, I had no reason to return to that particular blog, as the poll had ended, and your comments were lost to time, until now anyway. But as per your request, I never blocked you, or deleted the comments, in spite of the negative feedback you received. And you were honest with what you said, and your criticism was directed at the stories themselves, and the characters in them, rather than at me, which I appreciate. And while I disagree with pretty much everything you said, you're still free to say it

5742951

Thanks. There is one last thing to ask, if you have free time;

And while I disagree with pretty much everything you said, you're still free to say it.

Back when I type those long rants, I actually wanted to see your take on the four main reasons I listed, and how you can "defend" or "disagree" with me.

And why you take those directions for your series?

5742953
Well, I have time, so let's take a trip back in Time, and I'll respond to your rants, answering your questions

5702707
Ok, I see we have a lot to get through, so let's start breaking this down. Thank you for making my job easier by splitting up your questions

1. But, our human/furry hybrids DIDN'T even fix this stupid timeline problem, and forcefully end up with a dreaded cliffhanger!?) Look, our wolf/bat protagonist had been through enough crap in his previous life as it is, and doing this to him in his most happy time from the original timeline was rather a big dick move in my opinion. No offense.

I did this on purpose, because I had to start setting things up for what I refer to as the "Time Travel Trilogy" of the BE Saga, which covers "Tracks Backwards", "Tale of 2 Big Boys", and "Stitches in Time". I had to make it clear that the events of these 3 stories (seemingly) took place in a timeline different than what was laid out in "Beyond the Express", because this story was about the BE Crew trying to get back to Earth, and end WW6 as they were meant to, but something goes wrong, and they wind up during the Imperial War, and do their best to cut down Allied casualties. They knew where costly mistakes were made, and they tried to fix them. And yes, the Timeline will be fixed to how it was before; this is the entire reason the 3rd story in the trilogy, "Stitches in Time" exists; so that the BE Crew can reset the Timeline as it was before. This "New Timeline" is only temporary. As for leaving it on a cliffhanger, that's what I do with all of my stories that have sequels; I leave tantalizing crumbs to keep the readers interested.

2. Plus, I didn't say anything negative or criticize your Battleship Express saga from long ago, but I want to finally give off my chest about the other problems too, after these many years.
Ok then, let's get to it.

3. Firstly, having futa, toxic misanthrope and misandry felines being the "villains/enemy" on the post apocalyptic earth!? Then letting them "WIN" by the Earth being completely destroyed and humanity being "nonexistent" anymore. :facehoof: :ajbemused:

Eh, the Futas didn't become feline(ish) until they arrived on Equus. I made this very clear at the end of "BE", and in "Beyond". Also, the Earth wasn't completely destroyed; as seen in "Beyond", large parts of it had been rebuilt, both in between WW5 and WW6, and post-WW6. And why are they Human-Wolf hybrids? This is a callback to ScarFox, my original OC, who looked very similar to what Leopard looks like in the story.

4. This has been a bit of a bone of contention for me ever since it was written. I won't go into full detail, but my mind was in a bad place when I wrote this, and was using it as an outlet to vent. I'm not justifying it in any way, but that was the reason behind it. It began as a jab at BBC porn, and began to snowball into something much darker because of my bad mental state. I have little else to say, other than it was a mistake to write, and it's there now, and an integral part of the lore

5. And IF that wasn't "bad" enough. Thirdly, you made the main wolf/bat protagonist to be not only being a total sex slave and having a "affair" with the literal leader of the futa feline freaks!? ( But having a daughter too!? How does that even work!? )

As I laid out in "Beyond", Leopard was a POW of the Futas; he was NOT a sex slave by choice. He was lucky that Demetria adopted him. And I did that for fans of Futa smut. And this has to do with Futa biology. In a nutshell, there's Futas, who have dicks, and Herms, who have dicks and pussies. Demetria was a Herm. Also Carla is her niece, whom she adopted as her daughter when her sister Natasha, Carla and Stacy's real mom, died.

6. And then, he is now frickin gay with Sombra of all ponies!!!??? ( Look, I DON'T have a problem with homosexuality or trans. I don't like to be offensive or a hate offender. ) Also, while seeing our wolf/bat protagonist being bisexual does make feel mixed with it, but I kinda got over that. Alright, alright, I get it, calm down. I'll admit, bringing Sombra into "BE" the way that I did was a mistake looking back, but at the time, I was still new to writing, and I didn't know any better. However, it seems that you didn't read the story as well as you claim. Why? Because if you did, I quite clearly laid out that Sombra was merely using Leopard as a pawn to try and get his powers back, and was manipulating him while he was in a vulnerable state of mind. Also, Leopard eventually caught on that Sombra was only using him, and he was left to be a restless spirit until he then latched onto Sally Face (Stacy's slave), or was recaptured/imprisoned by Leopard as seen in "Tracks Backwards". But make no mistake, I NEVER had plans for Sombra to be a good guy in the BE Saga. He was ALWAYS intended to be evil, manipulative, and seeking his own goals. And yes, at the end of the story, he will be paying for his crimes, in a very brutal, grizzly way.

7. And instead of finally killing Sombra, and also King Dainn and his loyalists. Letting them both escape and live for a sequel grab is another big can of worms that I don't like.

I did this on purpose, because I never intended for "BE" to just be one story; from the very beginning, I'd been planning on writing more than one story. The original plan was for 3 stories, but now that's been upgraded to 7 stories, just like the "Chronicles of Narnia" Series.

5702709
And here we go again. Same format, same mission. Let's get into it

1. Fourtly and finally, back to the earth apocalypse. Was it really necessary to make these rather luscious war scenarios on not only a potential WW3, but a highly fictional WW4, then WW5!!?? ( Then a frickin WW6 in the grand finale!? ) This ain't Warhammer 40K with the endless war concept!!! Sheesh, only WW1 and WW2 in real life is really bad enough as it is. Sadly, we might get WW3 in the far future. ( Hopefully with NO Nukes or post apocalypse. ) But, I highly doubt that a WW4, or even a WW5 and WW6 is even possible? I firstly thought that having only WW3 with hostile aliens, or hostile russia/soviet, or north korea, or returning nazis, or a zombie scenario? And I only accept a concept of a WW5, but I DON'T want the futa toxic feminists. )

This harkens back to the earliest days of the "BE" Saga, a time when I was a struggling writer here on FIMFiction, with only 2 stories to my name; "Bermuda Beginnings" (a good idea, but a failed execution), and "Back from Death", (an abysmal story that never should have been written). I was a fan of the story "Rails of Destruction", while also taking a strong dislike of "Femdom World" (porn involving women enslaving men), porn involving BBC, "Futadom World" (porn involving Futas enslaving everyone), and of course, "Fall of Equestria", and the wheels began to spin in my head to create a story universe that could tackle all of these dislikes, while centering around my like. Slowly but surely over the course of 2017, the lore for "Battleship Express" began to be written on the drawing board. And because I had never undertaken something so ambitious before, mistakes were made along the way; mistakes that I had to bend the lore around to work them in, because by the time I realized that they were an issue, it was too late to ret-con them, because they were already established canon. So I was forced to work around them. Chief among them was the number of world wars, as as you mentioned before, the One Race Empire, and the controversy surrounding that. I already addressed the latter, so now I'll address the former. Why were there so many world wars? It's because I messed up, that's why. WW4-5 should have been one single war, not 2, but it's too late to change it now. And why didn't I use the Soviets, Nazis, Zombies, etc? Because those tropes have been done to death in fiction; I wanted to try something new.

2. Look, I really hate to say this. But, this mess up negatives that I heavily mentioned up top, on just your own first battleship express story, then your recent time travel ridiculousness.

The "time travel ridiculousness" will only last for "Tracks Backwards", "Tale of 2 Big Boys", and "Stitches in Time", and then never really play a role in the story again. I had to use time travel as an element to set up the events of "To2BB", because that story (was) a collab between myself, and "An Iowa-Class Battleship", and the 2 war-trains, the Battleship Express, and the "4-8-8-4" existed 269 years apart, and it all started with the BE trying to travel through Time and Space to finish WW6, and correct their own mistakes
