Beyond Me Sequel Excerpt · 2:06am Dec 2nd, 2022
A little hint of what I wanna get into. This is subject to be either canon or uncanon and might not even be in the story.
“Hmmm, I suppose it’s possible, although if it is, that’s all the more reason for me to not interfere, is it not? Random disorder is quite my cup of tea, I must say,” he told her as he sipped tea. “Pity though that I can’t ask directly. All the other Features are much too uptight to take on physical forms. I say, what’s the point of being an immortal being and a construct of the physical universe if you never talk to creatures? Good thing we’re not like that, right, Celly?”
“I am not a deity,” she said flatly, getting a little smirk and a raised eyebrow from Discord. “I am not,” she repeated.
“You’re certainly a Feature– at least of this universe anyway. You raise the sun and bestow immortality on whoever you please. If that’s not godhood, I’m not sure what is. Although I guess you’re not a Feature if you can get flustered so easily by a little filly. But you certainly have the ability to impose your will on whatever creature you wish that resides in Equestria. Hmmm, I wonder if Asher's god has the same ability on Earth. Wouldn’t that be something?”
My head canon for that event (mainly what I took from it) was that...
Twilight did earn her ascension but her poor body was not capable of handling the charge such a form requires.
-(which promptly explodes)-
And Celestia brought her back from death.
Whether that place was just a transitionary place or a space Celestia made is kinda irrelevant. Celestia wants to be seen as an all loving mother-ish figure, coupled with the sun makes two archetypes that often contain healing. While we never see her heal she seems to have the ability to create new life.
Thankfully her new body is able to handle the essence of what she is. (Or will be as the story isn't actually there yet... or will it?) Whether Alicorn Twilight is merely ageless or immortal god has yet to be seen.
