So... it turns out that today (November 27) is the 1-year anniversary* of my first published story, Late-Night Conversations. A story I wrote on something of a random impulse, with limited expectation of going further.
Well...
It's been quite a journey since then, between publishing over 100,000 words personally over the course of this past year, discovering the wide world of other published stories on the site, participating in writing contests (and even scoring well in a few), and getting to know quite a few members of this community (including personally at Everfree Northwest), even editing for a few. I've been thrilled see my work get embraced by readers, and I'm hopeful that I'll get to continue writing here for a long time.
I'd hoped to have a new story ready in celebration for today, but, sadly, that didn't happen. But, in order to not leave you empty-handed, I followed through on something I've been wanting to do for a while, which was re-edit one of my older stories. Since it's one of my personal favorites of my stuff, and fits with the upcoming holiday season, I finally went back and did some needed touchups on Sunset and Twilight's Winter Holidate. If you're a newer follower and haven't read it before, definitely check it out!
As for future plans, if nothing else, I have a story to write for Jinglemas, so you can definitely expect that in about a month. I'm hopeful to also squeeze in another holiday-themed story as well before December 25, and both of my larger concepts, SciSet in Equestria and the next Siblingverse story, are definitely in the works for early next year. You can also expect to see my name as a pre-reader/editor on a lot more stories soon, including FanOfMostEverything's Djinn, Jack, and Cider!
