When Princess Celestia is unable to cheer up her mopey little sister, she leaves a copy of her favorite play in Luna's room as a last-ditch effort to ease her melancholy. Luna takes the bait, and reads the story. What comes next is a mad tale of lunacy, obsession, politics, gargoyles, and hypochondria. Will the palace survive Luna's reading session? Will Celestia?

The two mares both have families and small castles.When spirits come to the pair bringing bizzare predictions, Twilight is somewhat skeptical while Rainbow allows these prophecies to stir strange and dangerous thoughts.
