Equestria has fallen due to the rallying of citizens to rise up and overthrow the princesses. The results of these actions have obliterated a large amount of land and have caused a vast number of deaths. One mare born shortly before the fall of the Old Empire will recall the citizen revolt and her past as she saw it. Not only has she seen the corruption that caused this fall, but she has now set out to destroy the main predator in these new lands, the Shifters. They are a new and enhanced breed of changelings that have grown larger and stronger, now feeding on ponies completely. Will she succeed or will she succumb to the might of the Shifters?
