Brendan Gaughan is the driver of the car featured in the main image, and he raced his way to a 7th place finish in this year's 500. I managed to get pics of each car as they were lining them up for the race's restart on Monday, and this was the one that worked best for a title image. Brendan's calling it a career at the end of the year.

I'd really hoped to have Diamond Rose's chapter finished before leaving, but I didn't have a chance to complete it in time. It's nearly done, but not quite there just yet.

She actually managed to appear in both previous stories, even if her blink-and-you’ll-miss-it cameo in Business Trip was uncredited. So where do we begin with this? Obviously, this fic is for Admiral Biscuit's contest challenge which has no deadline and no prizes. However, this is a thing I've been wanting to do for a long time since I love slice of life, I much prefer 'ponies on Earth' as opposed to 'humans in Equestria', and I'm a fan of his work. While this isn't my first ponies on Earth fic, I haven't wanted to step on AB's toes since, frankly, he created and defined the 'ponies working on earth' genre of fics.
