Hey folks,

The immediate plan was for Chapter 16 at the end of January and Chapter 17 two weeks after. That is behind schedule on account of the medical issues earlier. The “end of January” thing was based entirely on my wrist recovering, which was fine as of last year.

I’ve been trying to stick to it as madly as I can, writing an ungodly amount, but I eventually began to realise I had to slow down and take it more carefully, what I was seeing of Chapter 17 I was not liking.

Okay guys and gals. I’ve been to the docs and had to face my fear of needles (I admit it, I’m such a coward about them!) to get a blood test taken.

I wasn’t aware they were going to take all my blood! Four full vials from my arm, I couldn’t move it afterwards. She said it’s so they only have to do this once and they can test for a whole range of things, so that’s nice.

Good news, folks! Chapter 16 is completed and I have just begun work on Chapter 17. Chapter 16 turned out really well and it’s had a very strong reaction from the prereaders. It’s gonna be a good release, while 17 has been one I’ve looked forward to writing for a good long while. Heck, so are 18 and 19. There’s a good run!

But…why do I not have any dates?

Hey folks,
Writing has begun again, I completed three further pages yesterday (boosting us to about 16-17 pages worth) as well as extensive replans from a plot hole I spotted ahead of time!

However it's going slow, mostly due to a strange medical condition potentially related to my wrist that makes it very uncomfortable to sit right at the keyboard. Makes it hard to do it y'know? So I'm gonna just relax it over Christmas a little more, then see what happens.

I've kinda kept you guys out of the loop a little over the past week, sorry about that. But here's the score.

I had a setback, my wrist flared up really badly and I pretty much had to near enough force my way into the hospital to get it checked. No way am I waiting till the next appointment. I was told to do absolutely nothing (which is why some IRC folks may be wondering why I wasn't as chatty, I was just avoiding typing!) including play games or work on exercise with it.

Hey folks,

I know a lot here don't really check my tumblr, but my medical recovery is going really well. I'm typing without pain, just an odd discomfort now. The medicine has been pretty strong and the physio has (while bending me into a pretzel) really been helping me. It'd say that at worst it shouldn't take much longer before I am told I can write safely again. I've got a new wrist supported keyboard to work with too.

Hey folks, I've said this on my tumblr but I will repeat here for you folks too.

MN7 unfortunately will have to wait, perhaps a week or two (longest a month) due to a growing medical condition in my wrist between the bone connections that's swelling and causing me somewhat large amounts of pain when I type too much or use a mouse too long. It's likely somewhat stemming from the very active hobbies I've had doing stuntwork or martial arts that involve it taking a lot of punishment.
