The state of my beloved Concord.. is in a position I for one could not have expected. My failure to stop the devil’s destruction of our most prized artifact dwarfs the result. My nation is humiliated, and it is my fault that it has become as such. Perhaps, in the future I can redeem myself, but I for now can and will not expect a light punishment. My inaction to save the Diadem warrants it.

This story is a sequel to A General Meetup

Following the acceptance of the creation of Task Force Pharynx, the Changelings located a high-value piece of intel bound for Canterlot. Believing this was a good time to prove their worthiness to Queen Chrysalis and the Changeling Army as a whole, General Ecirep planned to seize the intel which was currently in the Everfree Forest and put it to further use.

Late into the First Equestrian War, two Changeling generals meet at a undisclosed location to discuss the creation of a task force that might just help them in their losing war. (And also what happens after that.)
