I would like to share something with you all about my life. It isn't a happy story, but it isn't sad, either.

Out at sea, rockin' steam dreams and pilot valves... Deuces.
And lo, the great moderator Meeester looked down upon this bat, and saw that he was deserving of a reward for a long and prosperous career of writing tales of things that explode, sarcastic unicorns, and frenzied copulation. The moderator did grin, and spoke the holy word; "kek" unto the bat, and did click the sacred story-approving mouse button, and granted a single watching.
Most of you have been with me for a while. Hell, I've been on this site since 2011. (Pay no attention to the membership stats on the user page, I was hacked and knighty saved my ass). If so, you may recognize the fact that much of my earlier work is of a much lesser quality. You can actually see my work get better and better through the chapters. Quite literally, my entire writing experience has been measured in my career on this site.

I write to you now from my new residence in Charleston, South Carolina, as a sailor of the United States Navy. The journey here was not easy or particularly worthwhile, but it was one I had to take nevertheless. Around two and a half months ago I left you all to fly to Basic Training.
