A friend was transported into equestria with her, an introverted brony, who has seen the show and the comics, has turned into their overpowered OC, Shadow Facade. They still had their belongings with them after they got transported and turned into ponies.

Now the first episode is starting, and Celestia is panicking with her friend since she found out that the equestria they're in was an AU all along after hundreds of years of living in it.

An Alternate Universe where Luna is not Celestia's sister, but something else entirely...

Both of them would rather deal with the selfish greedy nobles at court than this!

Why did they just have to find out the secret RIGHT ON THE DAY OF NIGHTMARE MOON'S RETURN AND NOT A COUPLE YEARS BEFORE THAT!? WHY NOT THE TIME OF SUNSET SHIMMER!?
