Writer's Recap: What Was Said · 10:17pm Mar 24th, 2020

The original draft of this chapter was much more political in nature, but I decided to ditch that angle because it didn’t really serve any narrative purpose. I was getting sick of politics at the time (I still am), so it didn’t make sense to include something that would’ve made me not enjoy writing.

A thank you · 7:27pm Mar 24th, 2020

The result of publishing The Strangers in Ponyville has not only been attention on the story, but also several readers checking out my other works as well.

I want to extend a note of thanks to everyone for giving me a chance, and to say that you should extend some thank also to the good nightwalker, whose input actually helped bring about the story you are now reading.

And there · 5:19am Mar 22nd, 2020

I'll be honest: I did not actually expect to finish The Strangers in Ponyville this weekend, but I managed to do it.

I guess not having to go and take care of ye olde second job does, in fact, free up time and energy to do other things. It's kind of a good thing to, because I expect to be back at it Monday night.

Amazingly almost there · 1:49am Mar 15th, 2020

In the past week, The Strangers of Ponyville has gone from having 7 of 11 chapters finished, to having 10 of 11 chapters finished.

This is somewhat distressing for me, because the word count has almost doubled as well, but what can you do.

Changes necessary · 6:38am Mar 12th, 2020

I penned the first chapter of A Matter of Interest when I was temporarily living in a vacation rental at the corner of Olive Place and Melrose in Seattle, in the late spring of 2013 during the middle of a confusing break-up that began in February of the same year and did not actually finalize fully until February of the following year. It was the genesis of an idea of the words "surfing changeling", a throwaway something I'd written on the corner of a scrap of notebook paper. I wrote a

Let's Plays are confusing for me · 4:26am Dec 18th, 2019

I think this is in large part because I can't ever decide if what I'm watching unfold on the screen is to make the video more entertaining for those watching, if the player is just distracted because they keep talking to the audience, or if the player is genuinely that bad at the game they're playing.

No breaks, looks like · 3:23pm May 22nd, 2019

Last Saturday, I attended a memorial for GreyGuardPony. It was good. I don't particularly like the circumstances that led to it, and honestly I would have preferred it not been necessary at all, but for me and my state of mind, it was good.

The Parting Glass: GreyGuardPony (again) · 7:54pm Feb 3rd, 2019

Some of you may remember from back in December when I talk about raising the parting glass to GreyGuardPony, and how that attempt was met with abject failure.

It's been nearly two months now, and today I raised the glass again. I don't think it's so much that I want to move on, but I'm at least able to. If I was able to deliver a message to her now, it would be:
