This chapter served really as a final wrap-up, and a way to show the progress that Twilight’s made. Reasonably, you wouldn’t see much progress after only a week, but that wasn’t the point. All else I would say is we shouldn’t think too harshly of Twilight: If your first encounter with a group was them kicking in the door on your brother’s wedding, shooting your mentor in the chest, tying everyone up and holding you for ransom, you’d hold them in pretty low regards, too.

I knew that I wanted to address a few things, though, one of which was, if Lyra is a changeling, then how do we explain the obvious hypnosis at the wedding? Have figured out that reporting a word count for The Strangers in Ponyville is ineffective, because it does not accurately show words written as it does not account for revisions.

Have also figured out that I did not, contrary to what is shown in previous blogs, title that story The Strangers of Ponyville. I am uncertain of what this means.

I have a little over 2,000 words written for The Strangers of Ponyville, spread across 7 chapters.

I like about 50 of them.

I actually had a pretty easy time with this one. The only real challenge I had was trying to find the right flow and the appropriate content. Once I had that, the words more or less fell into place without too much struggle on my part.
