    Adventures in homeownership

This week, I had installed a new air conditioner, me furnace, which followed on the heels of working through two outfits to secure financing, shelled out $200 for a new smart thermostat, still have to call the city to schedule an inspection for the work, have to call a plumber because the toilet is leaking again, and I still will never go back to renting of I have anything to say

    It occurred to me

Or maybe it's all imaginary, but doesn't the boss music for Corneria in the original Star Fox sound like a mash-up between Super Metroid and F-Zero?

Writer's Recap: The Shape of Things to Come · 1:18am Apr 2nd, 2020

This chapter served really as a final wrap-up, and a way to show the progress that Twilight’s made. Reasonably, you wouldn’t see much progress after only a week, but that wasn’t the point. All else I would say is we shouldn’t think too harshly of Twilight: If your first encounter with a group was them kicking in the door on your brother’s wedding, shooting your mentor in the chest, tying everyone up and holding you for ransom, you’d hold them in pretty low regards, too.

It’s also intended to serve as a kicking off point for A Matter of Interest. I really would like to revisit and revise that to account for the new world building. I have a lot of stories I’d like to write.

I don’t know if I will, though; I just don’t have the kind of time that I used to, or at least I didn’t. We’ll see.

No questions materialized, so if any do come up, send a PM and we’ll answer them that way.
