Picked up an early Christmas present for myself today: Pokemon X!

I might have "caught" something else while I was at Walmart, considering I was already sick when I left the house, and it's cold and foggy out, and it's payday...and it's December...

If I'm not in bed with a full-blown cold/flu by nightfall, it'll be a miracle.

I really hate it when somebody who decides they hate your guts for some arbitrary reason decides they're going to follow you all over the site and just be a great big asshole to you at random times and places for no reason.

It's one thing when they leave dickish comments on your stories, blog posts, and user page until you get fed up with it and block them.

So as I mentioned a few blogs back, I got a 2DS as an early Christmas present.

The night I got it, when I was perusing the manual (yes, some people DO still read those things), there was one side note, on the description of the volume control slider, that made me laugh:

The camera shutter sound always plays at a fixed volume and is not affected by the volume control.

Really underscores the fact that this thing was designed and made in Japan, doesn't it?

I'm...not. I ended up not going over to my family's place for dinner because I've been sick since about 8 this morning and didn't really feel up to it. Still not feeling well...hoping I'm not coming down with something.

I haven't done all the little fiddly stuff yet--so far I've just set it up, run a system update, and linked Club Nintendo/registered it. I'll be doing more with it later.
