A scrunched-up piece of paper comes to a stop in the hallway at Princess Twilight’s hooves from Spike’s room. After reading the paper, Twilight goes and gets the one pony that can help.

Author's Note:
I couldn't resist writing a mushy Sparity story. Oh, before I forget, the drawing was done by me. Even though I am ambidextrous, I still can't write very well with my left hand. But the writing style has a purpose.

"Be careful Spikey." Rarity said.
Rarity has tasked her older more toned Spikey-Wikey with a task. Giving her cat Opal a bath. Is Opal hiding something, does she know something? Spike has Opal's favorite cat toy. He's also wearing a fashionable cape Rarity made for him.

Rarity finds herself unable to sleep. Maybe a late-night walkout in a meadow will help clear her mind.
Spike can't sleep at night, hasn't been able to. When he sees Rarity walking around at night. He can't help his curiosity. Maybe a talk with her will help.

AUTHORS NOTE: This story was driving me crazy. It came about slowly. I could hear the two of them talking in my head like always. When I write these 1000 words Sparity stories I'm always listening to 80's soft rock songs.

Rarity keeps dreaming of dancing and the magic feeling it holds in her heart. In her daydream, she never gets to see who she's dancing with. Spike has a way of taking her daydream into reality.

NOTE: I came close, so very close, to using Discord and his reality-bending magic, however, another pony felt right.

“Whatever will I do with my Spikey?” Rarity asked herself when she finds a certain gift from Spike that he'd given her years ago. Now she’ll need to figure out what to do.

When this story popped into my head. I had to write it!! I am hooked on these 1000 words Sparity stories.

Spike finds a new use for his dragon fire seeing as it's wintertime. The lake's frozen over and he has on a pair of skates. He makes a stop by Carousel Boutique to see if a certain white unicorn would like to go skating with him.

Carousel Boutique is the source of some strange sneezing, and Spike wants to find out what's going on. Something just tells him there's more going on here than what he knows at first.
Spike knows the cure.

Princess Twilight asked Rarity to put away some books in a small room. Events happen to where Spike starts helping Rarity and a bit of romance starts between the pair.

NOTE: I started writing these on January 31, 2022, when I came down with Covid, so for the past several weeks to keep my sanity while being restricted to home I found an outlet. I have to date 17 1000 word Sparity stories I've written. They're all stand-alone, this was the very first one.
