Side Arc 1 Chapter 1: Deer oh Deer has been updated with an extended section. Suggested reading of it from the moment they arrive in the forest as there are small but important changes in that part as well.

Hopefully now I can get back to concentrating on the next actual chapter.

Virus wise, looks like my state is shutting its borders on Tuesday. Hopefully it helps so we don't have to quarantine to absolute essential services only.

Got frustrated over not posting something in a while and having the new version of Spot of Tea just sitting waiting. Felt like the little red dot declaring it unpublished was mocking my lack of progress on the next chapter of John, so I gave in. The latest version of Spot of Tea is now posted as the Prologue of A Deer Named John, and the old versions have been removed from the site.

In all honesty, I just hope it reads cleaner than previous versions.

Just a nice little quick one. For anyone wanting a first hand update after my brother's dog's medical episode late last year. Had the chance to visit them tonight and she looks like a completely different dog now compared to how sick she was. She seemed very thankfully for what we did for her and so very happy and joyous.

Even when I'm struggling to write, seems my mind doesn't want to stop randomly making things.

Latest idea, a kirin who doesn't or can't "flame on". Would probably be a story involving how they can't do it and eventually end up going supernova. Though that may make it a self-sacrifice story. No idea if I have a way to use this so if anyone wants it, they can have it.
