Spike has been seeing carnivorous creatures at Twilight's School of Friendship bring in their own lunches. It's making him want to get his own claws on meat, but with meat being so rare in Equestria he's having a very hard time.

After a rather chaotic party thrown for Spike's birthday party, some of the girls decide to go out for a drink. With clashing personalities things quickly get out of hoof.

Trixie travels the roads of Equestria frequently. Throughout her adventures she has learned how to defend herself against various creatures and thieves. This particular encounter is a little more than she's used to dealing with, but there's another pony she crosses paths with that is willing to lend a hoof.
