This story takes place about mid season two, as far as the timeline of canon is concerned. It is definitely well before Twilight became an Alicorn so she is still a Unicorn in this story.

The premise;

A very dangerous set of winds have been released from a secluded temple located deep in the Everfree Forest. They have already blown through Ponyville and Three of the Six bearers of the Elements of Harmony have been affected by the winds, locked in a permanent comatose state until the winds have been dealt with. Now, with Twilight, Rarity, and Rainbow Dash stuck in Ponyville to watch over the defenseless, a new team of ponies must adventure into the Dangerous Everfree Forest, and combat both the winds, and whatever released them. Will they be able to succeed?

In this Story Princess Celestia has been kidnapped. Princess Luna calls upon the Mane 6 and assigns Princess Cadence to Rule over Equestria while she added in the attempt to rescue her sister, both to make sure she was safe and to clear her name from Nightmare Moon. Also please note that Chrysalis and Celestia both will not be in the story until Chapter 4.

The Mane 6 will be put through several trials, and there will be violence towards the end of the story. (There wasn't a listing for that on the content rating, so I went with Gore even though there will be very little blood.) There is also the possibility of death, I haven't officially decided. There is a new villain at work though in the Land of Equestria. One that could very well be it's undoing if the mane 6 should fail.
