As Celestia watched the captain leave, she turned to Pipsqueak. "I've noticed that you and Luna have developed a cordial relationship," The Princess said with a gentle smile.

"Oh, yes, Your Highness, since that very first Nightmare Night," Nodded the stallion, approaching her.

"You've been following my sister for so many years that you simply must give her a delightful night that will last forever."

Queen Chrysalis deemed her latest plan to be impeccable. No longer would she resign herself to the slow and meager amounts of love she got from reconnaissance, infiltrations, and abductions; no, to acquire love—vast quantities of love—she needed to masquerade as something universally adored and rather inconspicuous, like perhaps a lollipop?

On a fine summer day princess Luna was walking in the forest, sometimes lingering in sunlit spots among trees, the other times waltzing into cool shades. Breathing in aromas of the forest and listening to the birds talking, the alicorn was humming some tune under her breath serenely. The humongous basket beside Luna was levitated by her.
"Oh, what a lovely clearing..." - the princess admired it in a quiet voice and began to unload the basket, when suddenly she felt a particular fluctuation of the magic flow, which was attuned to her essence specifically.
"Is that another "loony"?" - Luna stopped her movement halfway musingly. And the big carpet, which was partly pulled out of the basket, returned into it.
"Very well, let Us see, who was brought to Us"
Having picked up the basket again, Luna moved her wings in front of her, as if she was drawing back the curtains with this gesture, and disappeared in the shadows.
