I just decided to slap myself in the face and actually start writing again.

Yeah, I have summer classes right now, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't have any free time. Which I am currently in the process of wasting. I'm gonna stop that now.

Now on to writing the chapter as fast as possible so I can take the time to draw a decent cover without you noticing anything's wrong.

If only I had been doing that in the free time I just had in the past week.

Don't worry - I have most of the planning done now. I just have to finish the detailed plan for the first chapter, then write.

But I got Civilization V this week. With heavy pony modding. I played four games.

For anyone who hasn't played it before, the games take about 12 full hours to complete. And I spent almost another day trying to get the game to recognize the mods as a native DLC thing. (The mods were too complicated for that.)

But it's probably not going to be up today. Just typing it up is taking hours. Way longer than I thought.

I have almost completed the finale! (Or at least, written in down. I'll have to type it up here later for my "editing")

The "chapter" turned out quite a bit longer than I expected. Therefore, I will publish two "chapters": one main chapter that is (quite a bit) longer than usual and an epilogue to Book I. I had planned the sort of epilogue to be the last third of the finale chapter, but with how long the actual climax of the story is, I think it deserves its own chapter.

I just got one of those emails, the ones that say, "Someone signed into your account."

I read, "Somepony signed into your account."

I think I've been writing a bit too much today.

...Nah, that can't be it.

Good news! I only have about three more scenes left in the chapter!

Now, these scenes are pretty huge, but... yeah. I got half of one of these scenes done today, so I feel pretty accomplished.

Well, there is a chance that the majority of the content of one of the scenes will fit better in one of the next book's early chapters, so it might be only two scenes. But the next scene I'm working on is the "climax" of the story, so it's a bit bigger than the one I just finished.

I have been having severe writer's block, which is rather strange, as I have everything planned out, even more so than the other chapters.

Oddly enough, the writer's block disappears after I draw.

So strange...

Anyway, I can't guarantee a date, since I have to get the chapter just right, and it is turning out to be a longer chapter than even the new length.

I'm still working on the finale chapter.

Chapters will just take longer than usual. This one in particular is extra long. And with a lot more planning in these chapters, they take longer in general. Yet I think that is worth it for the extra quality.

I also felt that this particular one deserved an illustration. (If that takes too long, I'm just going to add that one later, after publication.)
