While I work on the next part of Memoirs of a Royal Guard I wanted to stay in touch with everyone. I realize that it will only be two weeks but for an author that updates twice a week that feels like forever! Let's start there!

The title is likely going to be Secrets of a Royal Guard although I'm waffling and considering keeping the Memoirs moniker. Given the plot I've outlined I think the secrets title will work out well. Feel free to throw some feedback my way on that.

Hello everyone!

If you read the authors note for chapter 55 you'll know that it is, more or less, the end of the originally planned Memoirs of a Royal Guard story. I want to say very clearly that this isn't the end of Memoirs even though I left it with that finality feel (you'll forgive me, I am in love with the original ending)!

For the story I still have a few sub-plots to tie up, cameos to do, and more than a few plots to tell. I view 55 as more of the end of the first book.

With FIMFiction being down all yesterday we didn't feel that the latest chapter of Crystal's Wishes had much time in the sun. Especially for such a big chapter! As a result the Three of Hearts update that was intended to go out yesterday will likely be delayed until later today.
