Just nabbed Octavia in Warframe and the first thing I started doing was Octavia's overture. It didn't sound bad, but I couldn't figure out what to do with half the song since there's so much going on and the songs can only be so many bars in length before they repeat. It's still fun though. I suggest youtube-ing some of the songs people have come up with, I was surprised what people were able to pull off.

Oh my fucking God, where do I start. First off, the animator should not only be fired but shot. No, actually I'm going to blame the deadline on this one. This game is still in the stages of "pop it back in the oven till it's done cooking." Eyes track weirdly, black bars flicker all over the place, sometimes enemies and reg dolls bug a bit.

Said I'd try to get the new Substitute Demon out by Saturday. Didn't make it, so take two chapters, one from Sub and one from Twisted.

I really don't know why I can't knuckle down on Sub. I think it has to do with me biting off way more than I could chew. Twisted is simpler, the characters all working in a small area. Regardless, I will have this damn story done. I shall- what? The new Mass Effect game comes out on Tuesday?

So I play space engineers every now and again. It's a relaxing and enjoyable, sometimes even exciting experience when you finally start trying to fly around that block you strapped twenty engines too. It can also be frustrating, like when you realize the ship you built was using ion engines(space) and you're on a planet(requires hydrogen thrusters, which use fuel, or atmospheric thrusters, which work in an atmosphere). So I saw a few images of the new changelings recently(yes I know that happened a while ago and most people are over that drama) and while looking at it I had a thought. Thorax is male as far as we know, he stole Chrysalis's hive. Since many stories have queens being the ones to lay eggs, that means his hive has no way to replenish their numbers.

Started back on my writing spree this evening. Got back late last night and ended up getting an X-ray for my foot earlier today for that injury I suffered Monday night. No cracks or broken bones so it's a sprain. Notice I didn't say just a sprain. Anyone who has suffered those knows why. Hurt like a mother and I'm still cautious of putting weight on it even if it doesn't really hurt anymore. It's also turned my toes a lovely shade of purple and black-ish bruises.

So this morning my mom got a phone call from family in Chicago. My grandfather passed in his sleep last night. We, my mom, sister and I, are all on our way up to see to the arrangements. I 'm not one to take this too hard, but I'm certain I'll be finding myself surrounded by grieving family and that's usually the hardest part of this sort of thing for me.
