Orbiting Kettle

I've roasted a wealth of exotic things, All torn to ribbons at the hands of kings. Polished copper how I proudly shone, stealin' the fire of the blazing sun.

Happy assorted festivities! · 9:58am Dec 24th, 2015

Before I hide back in the cave I was dwelling in this last weeks, let me wish you a Happy Whatever 2015!

Whatever you believe, whoever you have faith in, I wish you all serene and happy festivities. I hope you’ll be able to gather with those you love, being them friends or family, and that you’ll have respite from the things life tends to throw at us.

Be serene, be happy and have a wonderful time.

Fermentation, or Me trying to do something emotive · 9:12pm Nov 7th, 2015

So my new story is in the approval queue, and will soon be released on an unsuspecting world.

This time I tried something a bit different, focusing more on feelings and relationships than on adventure or weird ideas. The first draft was bit of a disaster, it was... cold.

Another call for editors · 7:05am Sep 25th, 2015

So, I have another story that needs someone to give it a read. It's quite short (~2k words) Slice of Life with a hint of not really healthy Romance.

Things I like and that will probably give you a glimpse of how I work - Part I · 12:08pm Sep 10th, 2015

Thinking about world-building, I came to the realization that I basically read a lot and then slice, grind, mix and bake things. I may expand a bit on this later, but for now I thought about sharing cool things that influence me, that are good examples of original or solid setting creation, or that simply let you think about details in a different manner. This will have to wait for a dedicated post, in the meantime:

New Story - Harissa · 6:32pm Aug 27th, 2015

So, I've finally finished rewriting my write-off entry ("A Matter of Perspective"), and a few people helped me hammering it in shape. Specifically The Fool and Meridian Prime, while Quill Scratch has been so kind as to give it a short read to check that I didn't add some glaring errors before publishing it.

A little madness for a good cause · 8:08pm Aug 5th, 2015

So, here's a wonderful idea from Quill Scratch, a quite self destructive way (I doubt his sanity will arrive intact at the end of the day) to help charities. Look up his blog post detailing the event.

Also, I promise some more substantial writing in the coming week.

New story in need of an editor · 9:19pm Aug 3rd, 2015

So, I have rewritten my entry for the previous write-off ("A Matter of Perspective") and I need now an editor for a story about dumplings, war, responsibility and being a mother, staring Zecora. It's a 6k words piece, it probably needs a lot of grammatical fixing (I am still learning) and it hasn't one ounce of comedy in it. Still, no gratuitous sad-fest.

Anyway, returning to the issue at hand, "The Marching Madness" got featured, which makes me a bit proud and tickles my ego in all the right ways.
