So, I have another story that needs someone to give it a read. It's quite short (~2k words) Slice of Life with a hint of not really healthy Romance.

Thinking about world-building, I came to the realization that I basically read a lot and then slice, grind, mix and bake things. I may expand a bit on this later, but for now I thought about sharing cool things that influence me, that are good examples of original or solid setting creation, or that simply let you think about details in a different manner. So, I've finally finished rewriting my write-off entry ("A Matter of Perspective"), and a few people helped me hammering it in shape. Specifically The Fool and Meridian Prime, while Quill Scratch has been so kind as to give it a short read to check that I didn't add some glaring errors before publishing it.

So, here's a wonderful idea from Quill Scratch, a quite self destructive way (I doubt his sanity will arrive intact at the end of the day) to help charities. Look up his blog post detailing the event.

Also, I promise some more substantial writing in the coming week.

So, I have rewritten my entry for the previous write-off ("A Matter of Perspective") and I need now an editor for a story about dumplings, war, responsibility and being a mother, staring Zecora. It's a 6k words piece, it probably needs a lot of grammatical fixing (I am still learning) and it hasn't one ounce of comedy in it. Still, no gratuitous sad-fest.
