The ponies of Ponyville will tell any newcomer to be careful of the Everfree, for it is easy to lose any number of important things once inside. It is dark, for you may lose your way. It is scary, and you may lose your nerve. And if not for the local animal caretaker or exotic herbalist watching the way to and fro, your life. Yet none would ever say you may lose your colt or filly. Save for one, who has long forgotten just about everything from before he fell into the harsh grasp of his new home so many years ago. Well almost everything. He still remembers..."it".

Human Tag: Aside from the very brief moments in the beginning of chapter 1 in the prologue humans will never again appear in the story. This is an entirely "pony" story. If really interested in his origin, he comes from the very early 1800s during the push across the frontier as I felt that would provide a better foundation for the Everfree.

Violence/gore: The OC would/will of course experienced/experience violence but it will not be written in a way that could be considered gore. Also violence on or between ponies will be kept to something befitting to the rating. I do not plan to mishandle any of the main cast or do anything physically cruel to them in the story.

Romance: Won't happen for some time, but it is a future thing i wish to explore. How, with whom, will be up in the air until a later time.

MLP Season Placement: Right up to before the Season 3 Finale, which will go forth rather soon with Alicorn Twilight.

Adventure: There will be an underlying conflict with the OC and something that happened in the Everfree that goes way back. He isn't an alicorn. Won't become one either.
