Just Got a Tumblr! · 2:52am Jul 18th, 2018

I've been lurking Tumblr forever, but I never got an account because I was afraid of picking a side on social justice. Well, after I found out about a certain Steven Universe spoiler (and since I was only on the first season or so), one of my friends finally decided to put his foot down and tell me to stop worrying so much.

STATE OF THE AUTHOR: The Sequel Scrape · 4:15am Jul 14th, 2018

Lately (and by that I mean this week), I've been a little down on myself for not being able to write that much. It's not something I should feel, and the more I think about it, the more irrational it becomes. I've finished the first 100 pages of Imperfect Storm. I started a new series last Friday, and updated Paging Doctor Sparkle. On top of that, summer semester's wrapping up at my library science program, so it makes complete sense why I'm not able to write as much. Finals,

Glitched Stitches Launches Tomorrow! · 4:37am Jul 6th, 2018

It's been a rough week for me, but somehow or another, I've finished the prologue and first part of Glitched Stitches, my new Coco-themed sci-fi miniseries! Even though it'll only have five parts or so, I'd still really appreciate it if you supported it! Sci-fi is one of the genres I've been really wanting to try out both here and IRL, so I hope I can do my big ideas justice.

Look for it sometime tomorrow afternoon or so!

Glitched Stitches--Cover Unveiled! · 8:22pm Jun 29th, 2018

Judging from my last post, Glitched Stitches was the clear winner. So, with that, progress on that story has already begun! I'd like to have it out by next week (and hopefully still get the new IYHALH in time), but there are a few things I'd like to point out about it first.

AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION: Animation Inspiration Oneshots! · 6:18pm Jun 17th, 2018

Anyone who knows me knows that I'm huge into animated stuff, and MLP is only the tip of the iceberg. And, every once in a while, certain series/movies fire up a creative spark inside me. Problem is, I'm on my third animation-inspired fic idea after seeing Incredibles 2, and I frankly have no clue which one to write. This is where you come in!

On Inspiration and Being Incredible · 7:08pm Jun 7th, 2018

WARNING: This post may get sappy and/or philosophical. Prepare yourselves accordingly before reading it.

Have you ever really thought about why you write? Not why you write now, but why you chose to do so way back when you started? Did the loved ones in your life always compliment you on your writing, or was it a skill that came later in life? To put it concisely, what made you want to write in the first place, possibly even before MLP was a blip in your eye?

Postscript: Light Pollution · 3:38am May 25th, 2018

For as long as I can remember (or maybe just a year), I've had four series in my mind. Premiere Nebula, the (tentatively) renamed Actress Square: the ambitious series looking for the big time. If You Give a Little Love: the first hit series, the FiMFiction magnum opus. Paging Doctor Sparkle: the wild card edged with drama, comedy and everything in between. And Light Pollution: the troubled production fighting to stay alive, and stayed alive it has.

Light Pollution Epilogue Coming Your Way! · 9:43pm May 24th, 2018

Those of you who've stuck with me long enough know that this series was one of my hardest-to-work-with yet. I kinda underestimated how hard a full slice-of-life series would be, and yet here we are! Almost two years after the fact, and I'm finally about to finish a 14-part story. If you haven't already, please feel free to check it out now that it's completed!

Full commentary on the series and how it went is just hours away!

Presenting the First-Ever Quillamore Retired Character! · 1:40am May 18th, 2018

In all my years of writing, I've always figured I will go back to every single character I can and give them attention beyond the original story itself. It's not something all writers emphasize, but it's something I personally enjoy. I like to give characters as much potential as they deserve, and that often means going back to them, writing new content about them, etcetra. But then, when writing my latest story, Light Pollution, I realized something.
