Glitched Stitches--Cover Unveiled! · 8:22pm Jun 29th, 2018
Judging from my last post, Glitched Stitches was the clear winner. So, with that, progress on that story has already begun! I'd like to have it out by next week (and hopefully still get the new IYHALH in time), but there are a few things I'd like to point out about it first.
1.) I now realize there is no way in the world that I can tell this whole story in just a oneshot. Some people can go on for 10,000 words or more in a oneshot, but there are so many individual details I want to incorporate into this story that really...it almost has to be a series. It'll be a super short one, though, probably only about four to five parts at the most. I've never written a short series before, and if it goes well, I have another crazy idea I could incorporate into another miniseries.
2.) Just about as soon as I wrote it, I figured I wouldn't get many hits for "cyberpunk Coco" on Derpibooru. So part of the reason I haven't written the first part already is because I was waiting on the coverart issue. In a moment of desperation, I messaged II-Art, the person on dA who does all the synthwave-style ponies, and asked them if there was any possibility of them doing a Coco one. I was afraid even suggesting such a thing would be an act of disrespect towards the artist, regretted it about as soon as I sent it...and actually got a response. Better yet, they let me use their latest drawing for my story! So, please feel free to hit them up, especially since they've got a good print sale going on!
