A series of stringed cases are popping up all over Ponyville. Lily is the only pony that knows of the origin. As a detective, she was assigned to look into the cases. It's easy to decipher between the real cases and the frauds, but explaining the difference is no easy task. Lily finds it difficult to manage these jobs while her friend Swift Wing is trying to involve himself in her life as much as he can. If he learns of the truth it will send them spiraling down a path of no return. In order to protect him, she needs to keep him in the dark.

The ponies Pitch and Ruby have been friends for many years.
They bonded over memories of both of happiness and fears.
Pitch, a Dare Devil of sorts, was a troublemaker from the start.
He’s just a little cocky, but has the biggest heart.

Ruby, a slightly troubled soul, sees darkness as pure beauty.
She can be a little scary but treats loyalty as her duty.
They’re both a little odd and not at all the same.
Still, they’re best of friends, treating life like an adventure game.

This story was written for my best friend! Haven't been able to see him in a long time, and he injured himself pretty bad. Since I can't go visit him, I started this series just for him.
