Okay, first thing-- I just found out about the Equestria Girls tags a few days ago, so I took entirely too much pleasure in re-tagging my various stories ... and then, as a bonus, I clicked through to those tag 'pages' to find that my stories were some of the top rated in the new EQG categories, which obviously means I AM THE BEST AT EQUESTRIA GIRLS PONY STORIES.

So ... yeah! Had a busy weekend, but things are winding down. Of course, one of the things about a busy weekend was that I didn't get any writing done, compounded with the fact that the original-work thing I'm working on is stalling, as expected, around the 10k word mark ... I think my biggest problem is that of structure, in that I have a couple of neat ideas for setting/action/etc, but linking them together is proving harder than I'd anticipated.

Sooooo. Yeah. I'm like, several pony episodes behind these days. I'm slipping, as the new week's episode isn't 'an event' like it used to be.

Admittedly, when I really started getting into 'teh pony' as a thing, I was living in South Korea, so English language entertainment was somewhat harder to come by. Also they have a Starcraft channel over there, but I digress. Really they should just make more Rarijack episodes 'cause I'll watch the hell out of those.

I've been working on an ORIGINAL THING lately, so good on that. Honestly, it's a rough, rough draft that I'm mostly writing so as to stay in practice. There might be some good ideas in there worth salvaging once it's all done, though.
