Day 1

A black cloaked figure left a letter on Princess Luna's and Lan Mikoto's desk before disappearing out the castle. The contents of the letter read:

"Dear Princess Luna and Prince Lan,

It has been an honor to serve under you and ah enjoyed the help ah managed to give. By the time you read this letter ah would have already been long gone from the castle and off to join the Celestia Empire. This however does not mean ah'm betraying you all, this is a mission ah have decided to take upon myself to further speed up Princess Luna's rule over Equestria. Celestia's Tyranny has been going on for too long and if nopony is going to do something then I will. Please do not come looking for me for one day, if ah make it out alive, ah will return to you guys. This mission is of the utmost importance to me. As for Applebuck Bigmac Macintosh, tell him that behind his back ah have been working on making a new barn for his land, it is actually finished.

Farewell everypony, you have all been kind to me so don't forget me in case things take a turn for the worse. Long live the New Lunar Republic!"

Wooh! Let's read this shindig! I have no knowledge whatsoever about New Lunar Republic apart from what I just guessed from this. I'll give you my feedback on the other side.
