A man is transported into Equestria under mysterious circumstances, arriving as a clump of dormant cells, awoken by his metiorite's harsh impact. What awaits him next?
What matter of beast has taken possession of you dear author!? A new chapter not even a month!? I dare say you've been on the metaphorical roll friend!
I don't see this as James' mistake. He was being amicable and accommodating, lowering his defences so he might have a civil conversation. It was Luna who decided to act, seperating him from what she had to know by now was a hive mind of some form, with no idea what such action would do, and against her sister's advice, all because she felt insulted and threatened him, and he reacted accordingly. Now the chimeras–who've only just now been named it seems (feels like we missed something...)–are lashing out in defense of their missing host. This is, without a doubt, 100% Luna's fault. And I thought she was a tactician.

On the matter of Luna, I think she did what she did, in part, due to the lack of information. James' actions in Appleloosa were a far cry from his amicable persona, which created a dissonance of sorts. What if he was putting on a mask to fool the Princesses? What would he do after punting the Diarchs out of his mind? The risks were far too great in Luna's opinion.
11730244 I agree the risks are great, and she should have a plan in place to deal with the obvious threat. What I'm faulting her for is choosing to act on an assumption without thought of concequences should that assumption be wrong, as well as ignoring her sister's advice off-hoof the moment she got flustered. She does seem to have a history of allowing emotions to overtake judgement, though. cough Nightmare Moon cough tantabus cough Given her cannon flaws, this isn't actually out of character. I'm still disappointed in her, though. Banishment hath taught her naught.
She really needs to work on gathering information before charging into a situation as well. She's almost as bad as season one "Magic fixes everything!" Twilight.
Removing the Mind of a highly infectious organism from its physical form is just asking for pain and misery when in doubt use the oldest model we got in earth history scorch earth method.

Damn, this is a really cool story. I'll be waiting for the continuation! Вдохновения автору! P.s Трек 2rbina 2rista Вирус, идеально подходит для этой истории
My sympathies are entirely with the pony. But Luna acted incredibly stupidly. She should have gathered more information about the creature. Besides, the creature has taken an entire city hostage. What if his minions kill all the surviving ponies? Luna, what did you think?! You're proud and stupid.
And yes, It looks like "James" killed the ponies after all...
Well, this is not the story I was hoping for. But it's interesting. It's well written. I especially like the description of different biological things. "James" is a bastard, but at least he's not omnipotent.
11731788 I don’t know . This situation is pretty terrible. You got a sentient highly contagious virus that has infected/killed a ton of innocent people and wants to continue infecting.
There’s honestly no reasoning with such a creature

She saw only one mind and thought that was it thinking that if she got rid of that the rest would stop.

I'm glad Luna doesn't feel OOC, but I agree that she still has a lot to learn.
Yeeeeeeesssss!
Get em James! I can't believe I'm rooting for the zombie parasite but I'm not MAD about it
