Wow this is a really good story, I'm a big Dead By Daylight fan.

Glad to hear it, cheers!👍😁
My man, you disappointed me a little here. The chapter overall is good, but one thing here make me cringe. Why did you called Joel "Baba Yaga"? If it was just a reference to Johnny - that's still not good.
A little bit of education : Baba Yaga (or Grandma Yaga) is a russian folklore character. She represented in old stories and soviet films as old, ugly woman that lives in the forest alone. Some stories said that she was a cannibalistic witch that lived in small shed-like house, with chicken feet supporting the building. Overall she portrayed as negative character that catch travelers that venturing trough the forest and eat them, especially liking the lost children.

I didn't look too deep into the meaning. I was just was just watching John Wick one day and thought the name was cool. It's nothing serious to the plot, just a name.

It didn't make sense. Call him "Boogeyman" and it will fit, but not Babad Yaga...

Sounds good 👍
If this story isn't a Dead By Daylight crossover, then what is it a crossover of?

Sorry for the confusion, that's my mistake. At the time, I was going to make it a cross-over but, ended up not going threw with it. The tag is off, thanks for pointing that out.👍
I shipped it.

In this case you should remove the first line in the extended description: it's confusing and some avoid crossover with a univers they don't know (or don't like).
OK, first thing first, there is no safety on Glocks. I repeat: THERE IS NO SAFETY ON GLOCKS! https://us.glock.com/en/learn/glock-pistols/safe-action-system
So here the story is wright by the sight of Spike who could believe it, but modifying the fact relatively of the protagonist you focus the narration on is not your style.
Basically, it doesn't make sense for someone who's used to dealing with firearms. Even in the calm of a sporting-gun range, the shot can go off by itself if you leave your finger on the trigger, so with the intense stress Spike is under it's almost miraculous that the shot doesn't go off by itself, so it can't be considered hostile intent.
On the contrary, in the case of someone as calm and lucid in tense situations as Jack, knowing that the gun is empty is an excellent way of gauging the person. What are his reactions to pulling the trigger, what emotions appear? In the case of both accidental and deliberate shootings, body language in the first few seconds can tell you a lot about a person's intentions and state of mind, because it triggers two things: the fact of having executed a potentially lethal gesture (even with an empty gun, it can create an electroshock and bring to the surface important personal traits; the gesture of killing triggers very intense reactions when it appears for the first time) and the reactions to the realization that the magazine is empty (for example, relief at this moment is proof that even if the shot was voluntary, the unconscious desire that surfaced with the electroshock of the lethal gesture was not to kill).
