S2E9 A Renewed Fear

Dante grunted as he got back to his feet. He shook his head several times before walking over to the Rebellion Blade and picking it up.

Then he knocked over a statue in anger.

“*Groan*!” came Sunset’s voice from off to the side.

Dante walked over to his sister and shook her awake. “Hey, you ok?” he asked her.

“I’ve been better,” replied Sunset Shimmer as she got back up. “What the hell was that about?” she demanded.

“To be perfectly honest, I have no idea,” replied Dante.

“What happened to Vergil?” asked Sunset.

“Once again, I don’t know,” replied Dante. “We drifted apart after we thought you died. One day, I lost contact with him. We met again a year ago and he attacked me.”

“Just like that?” asked Sunset.

“Just like that,” replied Dante. “He took my amulet before throwing it back, saying he could take it at any time he wanted.”

“I don’t think that he’s acting by his own free will,” muttered Sunset.

“What makes you think that?” Dante gave his sister a disbelieving look.

“Instinct,” shrugged Sunset.

“Well your instincts are normally right, so I’ll take your lead on this one,” replied Dante.

There was a beat of silence.

“Want to do something fun to take your mind off it?” grinned Dante.

“Heck yeah!” smirked Sunset.

“Come on,” Dante walked toward the edge of the tower.

“Wait, we need to wait for the Gem Maidens to wake up!” called out Sunset.

“There is no need, Mistress,” spoke Lightning Dust from behind Sunset.

“Argh!” shouted Sunset as she jumped to the side.

“We have been awake for some time,” added Lyra from behind Sunset.

“Argh!” Sunset yelped again.

The other Gem Maidens did not speak.

“That was funny,” snickered Dante.

Sunset glared at her sibling as she scanned her right hand over her belt buckle. DRIVER ON! A magic circle appeared in front of it. PLEASE! Transforming it into the Wizard Driver.

“HENSHIN!” Then she slid the Swift and Firestorm Rings onto her left index and ring fingers before pressed down on her Driver’s left Shift Lever, turning the Hand Author to the left. MAGICAL TOUCH HENSHIN! She scanned her left hand across the Wizard Driver’s Hand Author and punched it into the air. SWIFT PLEASE! DASH AWAY! The Swift magic circle appeared over her head. SPEED THROUGH THE FIRE AND WIND! Followed by the Firestorm magic circle. Both of them dropped through Sunset, transforming her into Kamen Rider Symbol Swift Style and then powering her up into the Swift Firestorm Style.

Dante did his best to put on a serious face as he scanned his right hand over his belt buckle. DRIVER ON! He failed as the belt buckle was transformed into the Gate Driver by a magic circle. “HEEEEEEENNNNNSHIN!” Dante punched the Rebellion Ring into the left side of the Gate Driver and turned his wrist forward. SET! OPEN! R-E-B-E-L-L-I-O-N! The Rebellion magic circle exploded out of the Gate Driver and moved back through Dante, transforming him into the Kamen Rider Dante Rebellion Style.

Then he punched the Swordmaster Ring into the Gate Driver’s right Slot. CHAMELEON! He turned his wrist forward. GO! Dante flung his right glove out to the side as the Chameleon Swordmaster magic circle appeared and moved through him. S-S-S-SWORDMASTER! His right shoulder pauldron transformed into the Chameleon Mantle.

“You should transform as well,” Symbol told the Gem Maidens.

“Yes, Master,” replied Lightning Dust and Gilda.

“Yes, Sir,” added Lyra and Bon Bon.

“Yes, Mistress,” replied Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash and Applejack.

“As you wish, our Master,” saluted Rarity, Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie.

“My feminine pride still hates that,” muttered Symbol.

C-R-E-S-C-E-N-T R-O-S-E! W-I-N-D D-U-S-T! R-E-A-D-Y! “Henshin!” F-I-S-T O-N!

Flashes of light went off behind Dante and Symbol as the Gem Maidens combined into their Kamen Rider forms.

“So what was this fun thing you wanted to show me?” asked Symbol as they stood at the edge of the tower.

“This,” with that Dante jumped off the tower.

“Are you nuts?!” demanded Symbol.

Dante kicked off the tower, he started firing Ebony and Ivory, shooting the Gargoyle Phantoms that had flown up to meet him. Next, he started jumping and kicking them around.

Only to get swarmed by the Phantoms.

“DANTE!” shouted Symbol as she jumped off the tower, going after her brother.

Only for the Phantoms to be destroyed as Dante drew the Rebellion Blade and started spinning around while firing the Ivory Handcannon. Dante threw the Rebellion Blade down, it spun through the air before spearing three Blood Gargoyle Phantoms.

“He’s become an even bigger adrenaline junkie than before!” muttered Symbol.

“Mistress, you are not in a place to talk,” scolded Swift Agni.

“Especially since you jumped off the tower as well,” commented the Swift Rudra.

“That’s different,” replied Symbol as she blushed under her helmet.

Dante fired a bullet from the Ebony Handcannon. The bullet impacted the Rebellion Blade’s hilt and made the sword accelerate down as the kinetic transfer took place.

Dante raced down the tower, catching up with his sword as they both accelerated to the point they had heat coronas.

Then he dramatically leapt off the side of the tower, admiring this reflection in the sword’s new edge. ‘So this is what you looked like when Pop wielded you, huh?’ thought Dante.

Then Symbol saw something that she didn’t like. “DANTE! LOOK OUT!” shouted the magic-based Kamen Rider.

“Huh?” questioned Dante.

Then he was swallowed by the Leviathan Phantom that had been flying around the tower.

“Dante you nutjob!” roared Symbol.

Drawing the Phantom’s attention to her.

“Oops,” muttered Symbol, right before she and the Gem Maidens were swallowed by the Phantom.

They landed on a piece of rubble.

Wait, rubble?

Kamen Rider Symbol looked around and gapped in shock. This Phantom must have eaten several cities! That was just a guess from all of the junk in his stomach!

“So how do we get out of this party?” asked Dante.

*WHAM!*

“Owie!” Dante clutched his helmet. “What was that for?!” he demanded of his sister.

“We wouldn’t be in this mess if it wasn’t for you!” shouted Symbol.

“How was I supposed to know that a giant snake would come and eat us?!” demanded Dante.

“What did you think was going to happen?!” demanded Symbol.

“Rock, paper, scissors,” challenged Dante. “Loser accepts that this is their fault!”

“Agreed!” replied Symbol.

“Rock! Paper! Scissors! GO!” shouted both Kamen Riders.

“Ha! I win!” shouted Symbol, she had used paper.

“No, I lost,” Dante had a cloud of depression over his helmet. He had chosen rock.

Kamen Riders Weapon, Grimm, Mega and X all sweatdropped. Somehow, despite their inability to feel emotions.

“But still, how are we going to get out of here?” asked Kamen Rider Symbol as she looked around.

“Up there!” Dante pointed off to the side and ran up a wall.

“Wait for us!” shouted Symbol as she used a street sign to flip up to an opening.

That was covered by five tusks.

“Great! How the heck are we supposed to get through there?!” demanded Symbol.

“Like this!” Dante drew the Rebellion Blade and punched the Rebellion Ring into the back of it. ONE! REBELLION SABER STRIKE! He jumped into the air and pulled the sword back.

“Oh, this should be good,” chuckled Symbol.

“Breakdown!” Dante slammed the Rebellion Blade down. Only for it to bounce off the tusk he had hit and he was sent bouncing away.

Symbol watched as her brother fell to the floor of the Leviathan Phantom’s stomach with a loud crash. “What’s plan B, genius?” Symbol called down to Dante.

“I’m working on it!” shouted Dante weakly.

Symbol sighed. “Any ideas?” she asked anyone. Not expecting an answer.

“That appears to be an item of interest, Master,” replied Kamen Rider Weapon.

Kamen Rider Symbol was a bit startled. Normally the Gem Maidens did not talk unless spoken to. ‘Then again, I didn’t aim that question at anyone,’ she thought to herself. She looked to where Weapon was pointing and saw some sort of pulsing gland coming out of the stomach wall. “That is disgusting, but your right. That might have something to do with the tusks,” she turned to Kamen Rider Weapon. “Go check it out,” she ordered.

“Yes, Master,” replied Kamen Rider Weapon as she jumped across the gap, boosting herself with a blast of green wind. Then she pressed the right side of the Dust Knuckle into the left side of the Weapon Driver. S-C-Y-T-H-E! There was a flash of red light as the Crescent Scythe appeared in her left glove. W-I-N-D D-U-S-T C-H-A-R-G-E! The pole weapon was covered in roaring green wind as Kamen Rider Weapon brought it around. Blood sprayed out of a gland in a fountain.

One of the tusks withdrew from the entrance.

“Yes! It worked!” Kamen Rider Symbol looked around. “There’s the next one!”

“Yes, Sir,” replied Kamen Rider Grimm as she jumped down to the same ledge that Weapon was on, only she landed a bit further down.

“But, I didn’t even say anything,” muttered Symbol.

Grimm pressed the left side of the Aura Knuckle into the right side of the Grimm Driver. B-E-O-W-U-L-F B-I-T-I-N-G! Black mist covered her arms and the Beoclaws appeared. R-O-S-E S-P-E-E-D A-T-T-A-C-K! Grimm darted forward, her body transformed into rose petals that slashed at the gland until blood exploded out of it.

Another tusk withdrew from the hole, leaving only three to guard it.

“Where is the next one?” asked Symbol as she looked around the stomach.

“We can see it, Mistress,” replied Kamen Rider Mega.

“At least she waited for permission,” muttered Symbol. She turned to Kamen Riders Mega and X. “Then go,” she ordered.

“Yes, Mistress!” replied Mega.

“As you wish, our master,” replied X.

They jumped down and landed next to the bus station.

Mega slotted the Hard Knuckle Whistle into her Driver and then pressed down. HARD KNUCKLE! Her right knuckle glowed as she took aim at the gland, bracing her arm with her left glove.

X slotted the Electric Spark Whistle into her Driver and then hit it. ELECTRIC SPARK! Her right fist was covered in green lightning as she shot forward and punched the gland.

Mega fired her right knuckle, it shot past X and slammed into the gland.

Which then exploded into a shower of red blood.

The next tusk withdrew from the hole, leaving only two more tusks.

“Now where is the next gland?” muttered Symbol. “Spread out and search!” she ordered.

“Yes, Master!” replied Kamen Rider Weapon.

“Yes, Sir!” saluted Kamen Rider Grimm.

“Yes, Mistress,” attention Kamen Rider Mega.

“As you wish, our Master,” saluted X.

It took a minute, but Symbol found the fourth gland. It was just past the bus station and inside a narrow cave. “Found it!” she called out. Symbol dodged around a waterfall of stomach acid and pressed her Driver’s left Shift Lever once before scanning her left glove across her Driver’s Hand Author and holding Swift Rudra in front of the Wizard Driver. MAGICAL TOUCH GO! SWIFT! C RANK SPELL! She took aim at the gland as streams of blue wind gathered around Swift Rudra.

“Ashes to ashes,” began Swift Agni.

“Dust to dust!” finished Swift Rudra.

“Ha!” Symbol pulled the trigger, firing several bolts of blue wind that shot through the air and slicing the gland to pieces.

The second to last tusk withdrew, leaving only a single tusk blocking the hole.

“I’m back,” shouted Dante.

“Argh!” screamed Symbol in surprise. “Where did you come from?!”

“I finally got out of the blood vessel and I have a plan to get through the tusks!” proclaimed Dante.

“Too late,” Symbol pointed at the hole.

Which was now open.

“What the-?!” shouted both Kamen Riders. “How-?!”

“Ok, stop!” Kamen Rider Symbol ordered. “We,” she gestured to herself and her Gem Maiden servants. “Found out that there are five glands scattered around the stomach. Destroying them forces the tusks to retract. I’m confused because all five tusks are retracted and we have only destroyed four of the five glands.”

“What do these glands look like?” asked Dante.

“Like a stalk with a pulsing eye on the end and three bone spikes coming from the base of them,” replied Symbol.

“Oh, I destroyed one of those on the way back up,” replied Dante.

“Without knowing what it was?!” demanded Symbol.

“I thought it was important,” defended Dante.

“You’re unbelievable at times!” Symbol threw up her gloves.

“And that’s what you love about me,” cheeked Dante.

The two of them ran around the hole, which closed up behind them.

They were now in the Leviathan’s intestine.

“...Are we inside this Phantom’s intestines?” Kamen Rider Symbol demanded.

“I’m afraid so,” replied Dante.

She shuddered. “I’ll need a wash after this.”

“What’s this stuff?” asked Dante, putting his hand toward the stomach acid that had pooled on the floor.

“DANTE! NO!” Kamen Rider Symbol shouted.

“Argh!” Dante pulled back his burning hand.

“Did you really think you’d be immune to acid. When this is the first time we’ve fought a Phantom that could use it?!” demanded Symbol.

“Well, I didn’t know what it was!” defended Dante.

“Dante, we just came out of a stomach,” deadpanned Symbol. “It doesn’t take a great leap of logic to figure out that stuff was acid.”

“Good point,” Dante allowed.

They ran into the next chamber. Which was cut in half by a membrane, behind which was the Leviathan Phantom’s beating heart that was divided into three separate sections!

“This thing has three hearts?!” demanded Symbol.

“Looks like it,” replied Dante.

Then they noticed a protuberance in the centre of the reinforced membrane.

"Let me guess," Dante said. "We need to find something to fit in there-" he pointed to a slot on the membrane "-to take the membrane down so we can destroy the heart and make this thing crash so we can get out?"

"...a viable conclusion," Swift Agni admitted as he appeared in a flash of yellow and red.

"A distinct possibility!" Swift Rudra agreed when he appeared in a flash of yellow and blue.

"You are getting better at this!" Swift Agni complimented.

"Soon you won't need our advice!" Swift Rudra pointed out.

"But we have never been inside a Leviathan before!" Swift Agni pointed out.

"So we have no idea!" Swift Rudra proclaimed.

The brother and sister duo glared at the two guns for a moment, before continuing on.

“How are we back in the intestines?!” Kamen Rider Symbol demanded as they entered the next chamber.

“It’s a phantom,” pointed out Dante. “He wouldn’t be a Phantom if his body followed human biology!”

Suddenly there was a loud roar as what looked like the giant tapeworm Phantom they fought earlier appeared behind them, it started to chase Dante and Symbol along the narrow intestine. Chomping to get at them.

“What the hell is that?!” shouted Dante.

“My guess?” replied Symbol. “What passes for this Phantom’s immune system!” she slashed through a red membrane. “This way!”

They dove down a narrow tunnel, out of the creature's reach.

“That was close,” panted Dante

The immune system made an attempted to reach them but was unable to fit into the tunnel.

Then he turned around. “Oh come on!” In front of them were Envy Phantoms.

They looked like Pride Phantoms, with no cloaks, serrated scythe and bandages across their faces with green bile pooling about them on the floor.

“They look like they’re halfway through digestion!” exclaimed Symbol.

“I know!” pointed out Dante.

One of the Envy Phantoms lunged at Symbol with his scythe. “Like that’s going to work!” she dodged back, only to find her speed greatly reduced. She had no time to react as the Phantom swiped her across her chest armour. “What the heck?! Why did I go so much slower?!”

“That bile they emit slows us down! Use ranged attacks or high defence forms!” Dante instructed.

“Thank you for the advice, but I loth you for not telling me that sooner!” shouted Symbol.

“I didn’t think we were going to run into these things here of all places!” shouted Dante.

Let the battle begin.

Symbol growled as she slid the Arrow Blade and Turbo Rings onto her right fingers before pressing her Driver’s right Shift Lever. She blocked a slash from the Phantom with Swift Agni and scanned her right hand across the Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. MAGIC TOUCHIE HENSHIN! ARROW BLADE TURBO PLEASE! She held his right glove into the air as the three magic circles appeared over her head and fell through her. She held out her right glove and a new weapon appeared.

It was a green metal bow with a black grip. Just above the grip was a hole with a green arrow going through it. The string was coloured green and the arrow’s metal feathers were coloured light green.

This is the Arrow Bow.

“Another upgrade? Nice!” Symbol took aim and pulled back the arrow letting green energy gather around the tip. “Fire!” Symbol let go, firing a single bolt of green energy that shot through the air and hit the Envy Phantom, sending him back.

A single step.

“Steady, are you?” asked Symbol as she pressed her Driver’s right Shift lever once. She used the Arrow Bow to block the Phantom’s scythe and then scanned her right glove across her Driver’s Hand Author. MAGIC TOUCHIE GO ARROW MAGIC PLEASE! Symbol pulled back the arrow as green energy spiralled around the Arrow Bow. “Here we go!” she fired a buzzsaw that was made of wind. It shot through the air and sawed into the Envy Phantom, who blocked the attack with his scythe.

The Envy Phantom gave out a wailing roar as he threw the attack to the side with a swing of his scythe.

“Not bad,” commented Symbol as she gripped the Arrow Bow by its grip and pressed down on the Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever. Then she blocked the Envy Phantom’s scythe with her weapon and punched him back before scanning her right glove across her Driver’s Hand Author. MAGIC TOUCHIE GO! BLADE MAGIC PLEASE! Orange energy covered the weapon as Symbol slashed it twice. This action fired a pair of orange buzzsaw constructs. They shot through the air, the Envy Phantom knocked them away, only for them to spin back and cut into him from either side.

The Phantom roared in pain as he released more bile from his body dispelling Symbol’s attack, he ran toward her. “I’m not letting you get into close range!” Symbol shouted as she hit her Driver’s right Shift Lever three times. She ducked under a swing, only to slow down and take a slash across the chest armour. “Argh!” she scanned her right glove across the Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. MAGIC TOUCHIE GO! TURBO MAGIC PLEASE! A black buzzsaw construct covered the Arrow Bow as Symbol darted forward and slashed upward, cutting into the Envy Phantom, sending him stumbling back.

“Now, the finale!” pointed out Symbol as she pressed her Driver’s left Shift Lever four times, the Envy Phantom got back up and ran toward her as she scanned her left glove across her Driver’s Hand Author. MAGICAL TOUCH GO! VERY NICE! SWIFT! S RANK SPELL! THE BEST! A yellow buzzsaw appeared around her right boot. Yellow energy covered Symbol’s body as she bent down and then leapt into the air. “CHARGED BUZZSAW END!” roared Symbol as her boot impacted the Phantom. Sparks flew from the Phantom as a yellow line was cut through him. Symbol landed back on the ground as the Envy Phantom fell over backwards and went up in a large explosion.

SET! OPEN! A-R-B-I-T-E-R! An Envy Phantom was forced back as Dante transformed into the Arbiter Style. He gave the Phantom no time to recover as he punched the Arbiter Ring into the Arbiter Axe’s slot. ONE! AXE STRIKE! “Here we go!” red energy ran up the Arbiter Axe’s shaft and into the blade, Dante swung it down, firing a spinning axe head construct. It sawed into the Envy Phantom’s scythe as the Phantom struggled to force the attack back.

“You’re not going to have a chance!” shouted Dante as he slammed the Arbiter Ring into the back of the Arbiter Axe once more. TWO! AXE STRIKE! Red energy swirled inward around the Arbiter Axe as Dante pulled it back in both hands. He slammed it into the ground, firing a line of red magical energy. It went under the Envy Phantom’s feet.

The Phantom gained an ‘uh oh!’ look.

Right before he was catapulted into the air.

“I have you now!” Dante turned the Arbiter Axe’s handle. GRAPPLE MODE! The axe transformed into the Demon Pull. Dante hooked onto the Evony Phantom, slamming him back down into the ground.

“Here we go!” AXE MODE! The Demon Pull transformed back into the Arbiter Axe as Dante jumped into the air. He punched the Arbiter Ring into the back of the polearm weapon. FIVE! AXE STRIKE! Red energy gathered around the Axe as Dante pulled it back and swung it down. The weight of the axe pulled Dante down and he smashed the weapon onto the floor.

Wait, the floor?

What happened to the Phantom?!

The answer:

The Envy Phantom had rolled out of the way and cut Dante across the side.

“Argh! Bastard!” snarled out the Kamen Rider as he punched the Phantom across the face while pressing the Eryx Ring into the Gate Driver’s left slot. GO! KICK STRIKE! Red energy roared around Dante’s body as he used the boost in power to leap into the air. The energy gathered around his right boot as Dante came down with an axe kick. “STRIKE AXE!” roared Dante as his boot made contact with the Phantom, sending up a blast of flame and red smoke. Dante appeared outside the smoke as the Phantom vanished into thin air.

The group ran into the next room.

“Is that the Phantom’s eye?” asked Symbol.

“Looks like it,” pointed out Dante.

“How?! Why is an eye connected to an intestine?!” demanded Symbol.

“As I said before, Phantom biology is weird,” commented Dante.

Symbol growled as they ran toward a flesh lump in the centre of the retina. Poking out of which was a blue orb.

Suddenly, it was pulled back into the lump with a membrane curtain appearing around it.

“So close!” shouted Symbol.

Then the Envy Phantoms appeared from the ground.

“That was creepy and disgusting,” commented Symbol.

Let the battle begin!

Symbol switched the Swift Ring for the Giga and Guardian Rings. She pressed her Driver’s left Shift Lever as she blocked a slash with the Arrow Bow. Then she scanned her left glove across her Driver’s Hand Author. MAGICAL TOUCH HENSHIN! GIGA PLEASE! BREAKTHROUGH! SMASH THE ICE! Symbol held her left glove down to the ground as the Giga magic circle appeared under her boots and rose up through her, transforming her into the Giga Style. Then she held out her left glove and the Giga Axe dropped out of a smaller Giga magic circle.

“Ball!” The Cerberus Phantom Familiar jumped out of a smaller Giga magic circle and combined with the Giga Axe, transforming it into the Giga Cerberus.

Symbol pointed him down as the Guardian magic circle appeared under her boots and rose up through her, transforming her into the Giga Guardian Style.

“All right! Let’s get to work!” Symbol took a slash across her left shoulder pauldron. She took no damage as she pressed her Driver’s left Shift Lever. Then she scanned her left glove across the Wizard Driver’s Hand Author as she hit the Envy Phantom with the hammer part of Giga Cerberus. Symbol held Giga Cerberus so that his collar was in front of the Driver. MAGICAL TOUCH SPELL! GIGA CERBERUS C RANK SPELL! She slammed the hammer part of Giga Cerberus into the ground, summoning a cube of ice from it.

“Ball!” shouted Giga Cerberus.

Then she kicked it toward the Phantom, he had no time to move and was hit by the block. It shattered, freezing the Phantom solid.

“Now’s my chance!” Symbol pressed her Driver’s left Shift Lever once. She kicked another Envy Phantom away as she scanned her left glove across the Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. MAGICAL TOUCH SPELL! GIGA C RANK SPELL! She covered her right fist in green energy as she ran forward and punched the frozen Phantom. This shattered the ice and making a badly injured Envy Phantom break into the border of the retina.

“Let’s go to the next level!” shouted Symbol as she slid the Bombardment, Drill, High-speed and Furance Rings onto her right glove. Then she hit her Driver’s right Shift Lever and scanned her right glove across her Driver’s Hand Author. MAGIC TOUCHIE HENSHIN! BOMBARDMENT DRILL HIGH-SPEED FURNACE PLEASE! Symbol held her right glove down to the ground as the four magic circles appeared under her boots and rose up through her. A dark blue cannon appeared over her right shoulder pauldron.

This is the Bombardment Spell Channel.

“So this form has powered up as well? Neet!” commented Symbol. She hit her Driver’s right Shift Lever once and then scanned her right glove across the Wizard Drive’rs Hand Author. MAGIC TOUCHIC GO! BOMBARDMENT MAGIC PLEASE! She took aimed and fired three blasts of blue energy from the Bombardment Spell Channel, they spiralled around each other and ground the Envy Phantom even further into the retina.

“The finale!” proclaimed Symbol as she hit her Driver’s left Shift Lever four times. Then she scanned her left glove across the Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. MAGICAL TOUCH GO! VERY NICE! GIGA! S RANK SPELL! THE BEST! Blue energy gathered around the Bombardment Spell Channel. “BOMBARDMENT BUSTER!” Symbol fired a column-sized beam of blue fire that roared through the air at high-speeds and washed over the Phantom, releasing a powerful explosion as the Envy Phantom vanished.

Kamen Rider Weapon dodged back from a slash and kicked the Envy Phantom back while he was in recovery. She removed the Dust Knuckle from the left side of the Weapon Driver. She removed the Crescent Rose Whistle and replaced it with a new Whistle. It was green with a pink head that looked like a pair of guns. S-T-O-R-M-F-L-O-W-E-R! Kamen Rider Weapon pressed the right side of the Dust Knuckle into her right palm. R-E-A-D-Y! Then she reconnected the Knuckle to the Driver. F-I-S-T O-N! The holographic suit of armour shot out and slammed back into her. The scythe and rifle on her chest plate transformed into a pair of green guns.

The Envy Phantom had recovered from being smashed in the face by a suit of armour and lunged for Weapon. She pressed the right side of the Dust Knuckle into the left side of the Weapon Driver. G-U-N! She held out both gloves and a pair of handheld SMG’s appeared in them. They were both coloured green and had pink outlines. W-I-N-D D-U-S-T C-H-A-R-G-E! She pointed them at the Envy Phantom and unleashed a barrage of bullets that forced him to stop his charge and back away from the Kamen Rider.

But Kamen Rider Weapon was not prepared to allow that to happen.

She ran toward the Phantom as she pressed the Dust Knuckle into the Weapon Driver twice more. B-L-A-D-E! The Storm Guns transformed, their handles turned into a pair of blades while the barrels turned into handles as their openings closed up. W-I-N-D D-U-S-T P-O-W-E-R-E-D! Both of the Flower Daggers were covered by green wind and Weapon darted forward and slashed the Phantom. She carved a green X into his chest before the wind expanded into a dome that shredded him to pieces.

Then she kicked an Envy Phantom over to Grimm, booted another Phantom over Mega.

Suddenly, an Envy Phantom dropped out of the ceiling and onto her backplate. Weapon threw him off, then she cut him to pieces with the Flower Daggers.

Weapon stabbed another Envy Phantom through the head and then threw a Phantom at Symbol.

“Watch it!” shouted her Mistress.

“Sorry, Master,” replied Weapon.

“My feminine pride still hates that,” growled out Symbol as she finished off the Phantom.

Symbol grabbed the Ignis Fatuus as the membrane pulled back. “Let’s go team!” she ordered as they ran through the hole.

Only to be bathed in darkness.

“Hey! Who turned out the lights?!” shouted Symbol.

“The logical conclusion is that the Ignis Fatuus was the source of the lightning inside this Phantom,” spoke up Kamen Rider Grimm. “Now that it has been removed, the lighting has ceased.”

“Huh, that actually makes sense,” spoke Dante.

They ran through the intestine, into the next area.

Only for another Tapeworm Phantom to appear.

“Not this again!” roared Dante and Symbol. They ran for it and quickly outran the Phantom, passing through a narrow gap that the Phantom could not fit through.

“So now we’re back in the stomach?” asked Symbol as she looked around.

“Yep,” replied Dante.

“Just checking,” stated Symbol.

The Phantoms arrived.

Let the battle being.

Symbol pressed down on her Driver’s right Shift Lever twice as she kicked a Phantom off the ledge they were on. Then she scanned her right glove across the Wizard Driver’s Hand Author as the Phantom started to climb back up. MAGIC TOUCHIC GO! DRILL MAGIC PLEASE! She quickly charged up the Bombardment Spell Channel and fired a blast of purple energy. It took on the shape of a drill and then caught fire. The Envy Phantom was hit and blasted to the bottom of the stomach.

Kamen Rider Symbol looked around and did a double-take when she saw the sheer number of Phantoms that were charging at them. “Alright, enough is enough!” she switched out the two Rings on her left glove for the Advance Ring and pressed her Driver’s left Shift Lever. She jumped up and kicked a Phantom back as she scanned her left glove across her Driver’s Hand Author. TOUCH TO ADVANCE YOUR CLASS! ADVANCE PLEASE! Symbol held her left glove out in front of her as the Advance magic circle appeared in front of her and moved back through her, transforming Symbol into the Advance Style.

Symbol thrust her right glove into the air. “Come! Advance Timer!”

TO BATTLE! MY MISTRESS! Shouted the Crow Bit Phantom as he came shooting out of the air and latched onto her right forearm guard, transforming into the Advance Timer. ADVANCE TIME!

“Hey!” Symbol noted that it only had a single clock hand. “You’ve got an upgrade as well? That’s great!” she was brought back to reality by a slash from an Envy Phantom. “Right, in the middle of a fight!” she turned the Advance Timer’s dial. SET UP! “It’s showtime!” then she hit the thumb inward. START! The Advance Timer started ticking.

She pressed her Driver’s left Shift Lever once after kicking an Envy Phantom in the face. Then she spun around, delivering a tornado kick as she scanned her left glove across the Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL! ADVANCE C TIER SPELL! Using the momentum from her kick, she punched the Envy Phantom with a left hook. The emitters on her forearm guards glowed, firing a blast of yellow energy from her fist that turned the Phantom’s head to ash.

Suddenly, three Envy Phantom’s closed in on Symbol from all sides. She pressed down on her Driver’s left Shift Lever twice as the Phantoms closed in. Then she scanned her left glove across the Wizard Driver’s Hand Author as the Envy Phantom’s swung at her. TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL! ADVANCE B TIER SPELL! The emitters in her shoulder pauldron glowed as Symbol vanished in a blur. The Phantoms missed and were all struck in the head with a fast elbow strike. Cracks spread from their heads until the Phantoms exploded.

Suddenly, a pair of Envy Phantoms charged at Symbol from either side. “That will not work!” she pressed her Driver’s left Shift Lever three times. The Phantoms got closer as she scanned her left glove across the Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL! ADVANCE A TIER SPELL! The emitters on her shin armour flared as a bubble of yellow light appeared around her, blocking the attacks.

“But that’s not all!” Symbol pulled the energy into her arms and punched both of the Phantoms, their heads snapped to the side and their necks broke.

“Now!” Symbol pressed the Advance Timer’s thumb inward. BREAKER ADVANCE! The Advance Breaker magic circle appeared and Breaker jumped out of it.

She pressed her Driver’s left Shift Lever twice as she ran at an Envy Phantom. Then she scanned her left glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author as she approached the Phantom. TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL! ADVANCE BREAKER C TIER SPELL! The emitters on her shoulder pauldrons glowed. Red energy wrapped around her right fist as she pulled it back and punched the Envy Phantom, sending him flying through the air at high-speed.

Symbol pressed the Advance Timer’s thumb inward. BLOCKER ADVANCE! The Advance Blocker magic circle appeared in the air and Blocker jumped out of it.

She saw a Phantom running at Symbol from behind and pressed her Driver’s left Shift Lever once. Symbol noticed the Envy Phantom too late as Blocker scanned her left glove across her Driver’s Hand Author. TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL! ADVANCE BLOCKER C TIER SPELL! She held up her left glove as the emitters on her forearm guards started glowing. A square-shaped shield appeared between the Phantom and Symbol. The Envy Phantom slashed the shield, causing it to explode and the Phantom was sent shooting back through the air.

“Thanks!” shouted Symbol as she pressed the Advance Timer’s thumb inward again. BOUNDER ADVANCE! The Advance Bounder magic circle appeared in the air and Bounder jumped out of it.

She zoomed up through the air and struck the Envy Phantom as she pressed her Driver’s left Shift Lever once. Then she scanned her left glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author after kicking the Envy Phantom back down to the ground. TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL! ADVANCE BOUNDER C TIER SPELL! Bounder landed on the roof and covered her left fist in green energy as the emitters on her forearm guards hummed. She shot down and slammed her charged fist into the Envy Phantom, smashing him into the ground, a crater formed under him before he exploded in a storm of green fire.

“We’re making progress,” Symbol pressed the Advance Timer’s thumb inward again. BLASTER ADVANCE! The Advance Blaster magic circle appeared in the air. ADVANCE WEAPON TIME! The Advance Timer’s clock hand started its second lap.

Blaster jumped out of the magic circle and landed on the ground. She pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever twice. TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL! ADVANCE BLASTER B TIER SPELL! A ring of purple energy spheres appeared around Blaster as the emitters on her shoulder pauldrons glowed. She flung her arms out and the orbs took off, arching through the air and back down, they slammed into several Phantoms and exploded, destroying them.

Bounder noticed a Phantom about to attack Breaker from behind and pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever twice. Then she darted forward as she scanned her left glove across her Driver’s Hand Author. TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL! ADVANCE BOUNDER B TIER SPELL! The emitters on her shoulder pauldrons glowed as she accelerated. She zipped around and slammed both of her boots into the Envy Phantom, breaking his head off his body.

Symbol saw the Advance Timer’s hand had completed its second rotation and pressed the thumb inward. ARTEMIS! The Advance, Breaker, Bounder, Blocker and Blaster magic circles appeared next to Symbol and their respective Energy Clones. They reached in and pulled out their Artemis Weapons.

“That was fast!” muttered Symbol in a fair bit of shock. She snapped the Advance Artemis Chamber closed. ADVANCE MATCH STRIKE! She took aim and fired a blast of ice that hit the ground and turned into a wave of ice. The wave swallowed and crushed three Envy Phantoms.

Breaker held the Breaker Artemis as a sword and snapped the chamber closed. BREAKER MATCH STRIKE! The Breaker Artemis extended to five times its original length and then froze over, becoming a giant sword. Breaker swung the sword down, crushing three of the Phantoms under it and then slamming four more into the side of the stomach as he swung the sword around. She crushed them a second later.

Blocker blocked a slash from an Envy Phantom and snapped the Blocker Artemis closed. BLOCKER MATCH STRIKE! Blue energy covered the rifle as it ballooned in size. Blocker swung it down as a chainsaw construct formed around the weapon. The chainsaw sounded like it was hitting metal.

Oh wait, it was!

The chainsaw struck the scythe’s of several Envy Phantoms and cut straight through them. The Envy Phantoms that had tried to block were all sawn in half.

Bounder snapped the Bounder Artemis closed as she ducked under a slash. BOUNDER MATCH STRIKE! Green energy gathered around the weapon, covering it. Bounder slashed through the air, firing an arrow and a buzzsaw construct that rocketed around, cutting several Envy Phantoms to pieces.

While Symbol had been taking out Phantom after Phantom, Grimm jumped back and kicked an Envy Phantom in the face. Then she removed the Aura Knuckle from the right side of the Grimm Driver. She removed the Beowulf Whistle and replaced it with a new Whistle. It was white the head was black and in the shape of two snakes. K-I-N-G T-A-I-J-I-T-U! Grimm pressed the left side of the Aura Knuckle into her right palm. R-E-A-D-Y! Then she slotted it into the Grimm Driver. F-I-S-T O-N! The holographic suit of armour appeared, knocking the Envy phantom back, then it slammed into her. The Beowulf on her chest armour transformed into a pair of snakes. One was white and the other was black. Both had red eyes and bones spikes coming out of their bodies.

Then she pressed the left side of the Aura Knuckle into the right side of the Grimm Driver. K-I-N-G T-A-I-J-I-T-U B-I-T-I-N-G! She held up her hands and the Cobra Staff appeared in a blast of black mist. It was a four-foot-long staff with a King Taijitu wrapped around it. She blocked a slash from the Envy Phantom and forced him back with a thrust. R-O-S-E S-P-E-E-D A-T-T-A-C-K! The second command kicked in and she unleashed several blinding fast wacks as her body was covered in a red aura. Sparks flew from the Phantom as he stumbled back.

The barrage ended and Grimm pressed the Aura Knuckle into the Grimm Driver twice more. K-I-N-G T-A-I-J-I-T-U T-E-A-R-I-N-[/b]G! Grimm was covered in a black a white aura before she suddenly split in two!

“Did you know about that?” Dante asked his sister as he bent an Envy Phantoms arm the wrong way.

“I had no idea she could do that!” shouted Symbol as she kicked another Envy Phantom away.

R-O-S-E S-P-E-E-D B-A-T-T-L-E! Grimm and her clone raced at the Envy Phantom. His head was hit by one staff, then another staff slammed into his cheek. His legs were knocked out from under him and he was sent flying through the air like a baseball. He slammed into a street sign and looked up, just in time to get both staffs driving through his face. Cracks spread through his body from the two holes before he exploded.

The two Grimms glowed, one shone white and the other was covered in black. The two of them moved toward each other and merged back into the single Kamen Rider.

The group ran through the intestine and then back into the stomach.

“Alright, let’s get out of this thing!” snarled Symbol.

“Yeah,” added Dante.

They were all truly fed up with being inside a Phantom.

“Ok, I’m ready to get out of this Phantom,” stated Symbol.

“Me too, let's get out of this thing.”

It had become progressively more disguising as they went through this Phantom.

Symbol slotted the Ignus Fatuus into the protuberance.

The membrane instantly dissolved and the fight started.

There were three hearts, the centre one, the left heart and the right heart.

Then the situation got worse as the Phantoms arrived.

“You lot,” Symbol turned to her Gem Maiden Servants. “Keep the Phantoms off us!” she ordered. “Dante and I will take care of the hearts!”

“Yes, Master,” replied Weapon.

“Yes, Sir,” added Grimm.

“Yes, Mistress,” replied Mega.

“As you command, our Master,” replied X.

LIGHT TUNE! Mega transformed into her Light Tune and then drew her Light Saber. She slashed one Envy Phantom and then slotted a new Whistle into the Mega Driver. It was orange with the head being in the shape of a raindrop. Mega blocked another slash from the Envy Phantom and pressed down on her Driver. RAINFLUSH! Kamen Rider Mega threw her left glove into the air and hundreds of bolts of light shot out of the air. They slammed into the Envy Phantom and forced him to take several steps back in pain in order to escape the bombardment.

LIQUID TUNE! There was a splash of water as Mega transformed into her Liquid Tune. Then she added a new Whistle to the Mega Driver. It was blue and the head was in the shape of a drill. She pressed down on the Driver as the Envy Phantom started to recover. DRILL BOMB! Mega threw her left glove forward and fired a drill shaped bomb. It drilled into the Envy Phantom and sent him flying through the air when it exploded.

“Continuing attack!” droned Kamen Rider Mega as she added another Whistle to the Mega Driver. It was blue and the head was in the shape of a solar fireball. PHARAOH SHOT! A ball of fire appeared in her right glove and she threw it at the Envy Phantom. He had just gotten up in time for a ball to hit him and sent him shooting through the air, smoking.

LIGHT TUNE! Mega switched back into her light tune and added another Whistle to the Mega Driver. It was orange with the head being in the shape of a Pharoh. She pressed down on the Driver. PHARAOH WAVE! Mega drew her Light Saber and slashed down, firing a pair of energy crescents that slammed into the Phantom and drove him back into a wall.

THUNDER TUNE! Mega was covered in a burst of lightning as she transformed into the Thunder Tune. Then she added another new Whistle to the Mega Driver. It was green and the head was in the shape of a ring. She pressed down on the Driver. RING BOOMERANG! Mega made a circle with her thumb and index finger. Then she grabbed the edge of the circle that threw it at the Phantom. The Envy Phantom was able to block with the shaft of his scythe but was thrown off balance.

LIQUID TUNE! Mega transformed back into her Liquid Tune to finish off the Phantom. It was blue and the top of it looked like a ball of scrap. She pressed down on the Mega Driver. DUST CRUSHER! She held up her gloves and junk rose up off the ground in a blue glow. She compressed the junk into a ball and threw it forward. It smashed into the Phantom and exploded, destroying the Envy Phantom in a powerful explosion.

Symbol jumped into the air, avoiding a blast from the left heart. “How are we having so much trouble fighting an INTERNAL ORGAN?!” she yelled in frustration.

“I DON’T KNOW!” Dante shouted back, equally annoyed.

ADVANCE PART TIME! It was at that second that the Advance Timer started its third rotation.

Symbol snapped the Advance Artemis closed and took aim as yellow energy started to build up around the barrel. “Die, organ, die!” Symbol pulled the trigger. ADVANCE MATCH STRIKE! Yellow lightning covered the Advance Artemis as Symbol darted forward. She slashed down, cutting into the left heart and igniting explosions along the path of her slash.

Dante punched the Trigger Ring into the back of the Rebellion Magnum. THREE! DEVIL! MAGNUM STRIKE! Red energy gathered around the magnum’s barrel as Dante pointed it to the ground and fired a blast. It shot into the floor and then burst out, hammering into the right heart from beneath.

Symbol saw that the Advance Timer had reached the red section and pressed down on its thumb. ANGI AND RUDRA CLAWS! The Agni and Rudra avatar appeared around Advance Breaker and wrapped around her, fusing with her and transforming her arms into the Agni and Rudra Claws.

She quickly hit her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever twice and scanned her left glove across her Driver’s Hand Author. TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL! ADVANCE BREAKER B TIER SPELL! Her left claw was covered fire and the other was sheathed in wind. She drew them both back and slammed them into the ground, firing a line of fire and wind that slammed into the centre heart, blowing through its shell and damaging it.

“What?!” shouted Dante. “How did she do that?!”

“Best guess is that a second-level upgrade form has enough power to break through!” shouted Symbol.

“No fair!” whined Dante.

“Less whining and more shooting!” shouted Symbol.

“I was not whining!” roared Dante.

Symbol didn’t bother to reply as she saw the Advance Timer had reached the blue section. She pressed the thumb. ERROR! “I’m not surprised,” muttered the Kamen Rider.

Advance Blocker saw the left heart charging up a beam. She opened the Blocker Artemis and spun the chamber before snapping it closed. Blue energy started to charge. BLOCKER MATCH STRIKE! Blue energy was gathered around the sword part as she brought it back and slammed it into the ground, summoning a wall of earth spikes. The heart fired its energy beam, only for the wall to block it in a spray of sparks.

“Thank you!” shouted Dante as he jumped into the air and punched the Trigger Ring into the back of the Rebellion Magnum. FOUR! DEVIL! MAGNUM STRIKE! Red energy pulsed around the gun as Dante took aim and fired a beam. It shot down through the air and smashed into the left heart, igniting explosions along its length.

Bounder shot to one end of the chamber and punched down on her Driver’s left Shift Lever. Then she scanned her left glove and the Bounder Ring across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL! ADVANCE BOUNDER B TIER SPELL! The emitters in her shoulder pauldrons glowed as she shot forward and did a flying kick, slamming into the left heart, making it buckle under the pressure.

Symbol noted that the Advance Timer had reached the green section. Despite already knowing what was going to happen, she pressed the thumb inward. ERROR! “Why me?! Woah!” she jumped out of the way as the right heart fired several spheres of purple energy at her. “Hey! That’s Blaster’s move!” shouted Symbol.

Blaster clearly agreed as she pulled open the Blaster Artemis and spun the chamber before snapping it closed. BLASTER MATCH STRIKE! Purple magic energy gathered around the blade as she slashed down, firing a vertical crescent of purple energy. It shot through the air and slammed into the left heart, cutting sparks from the organ.

“Thanks for the opening!” shouted Dante as he pressed the Trigger Ring into the back of the Rebellion Magnum. SIX! DEVIL! MAGNUM STRIKE! Dante took aim and fired a column sized beam. It roared through the air and thundered into the right heart, sparks splashed off the damaged area.

They could hear the Phantom scream in pain.

“Keep up the pressure! We’re doing something!” ordered Symbol.

At that moment, she noticed that the Advance Timer had reached the purple section. “It’s about time,” she avoided a blast from the centre heart and then jumped over a barrage from the right heart. Suddenly, a blast from the left heart caught her in the chest armour. CERBERUS MOUTH! But she was able to press the Advance Timer’s thumb inward while being sent flying.

The Cerberus avatar appeared around Blaster, it ran around her and then phased through her backplate, emerging as three Cerberus heads.

She pressed her Driver’s left Shift Lever twice, then she avoided a blast from the left heart as she scanned her left glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL! ADVANCE BLASTER C TIER SPELL! The left Cerberus Head spat out a line of ice spikes. They crawled along the ground and impaled the centre heart. Just like with Breaker before, her attack bulldozed straight through the shell.

Dante tanked a blast from the right heart and punched the Trigger Ring into the back of the Rebellion Magnum. TWO! DEVIL! MAGNUM STRIKE! “Payback for that attack from earlier!” Dante took aim and fired three blasts of red energy that shot through the air and slammed into the left heart, blowing several black marks into it.

Suddenly, Blocker saw the centre heart open and start charging an energy blast once more. She pressed her Driver’s left Shift Lever twice and then scanned her left glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL! ADVANCE BLOCKER B TIER SPELL! The emitters on her shoulder pauldrons glowed light blue as a circle-shaped shield appeared in front of the centre heart.

The heart fired.

The energy beam splashed against the barrier in a splay of mana sparks. The shield held and the heart quickly ran out of energy.

Symbol saw the Advance Timer had reached the yellow section once more. ADVANCE COMBINATION TIME! She pressed the thumb inward and was pulled into the air, as were her Energy Clones. They were arranged in their order, Breaker above Symbol, Blocker to the left, Bounder below and Blaster to the right. Their magic circles appeared behind them. The Energy Clones were broken down into streams of magic energy that were pulled inside Symbol. There was a blast of light as she transformed into her fusion form, the Full Advance Style.

“Let’s give it all we’ve got!” shouted Symbol.

“What do you think we’ve been doing?!” shouted Dante.

“Not hitting the heart hard enough!” replied his sister.

“What is that supposed to mean?!” demanded Dante.

“Exactly what it sounds like!” shouted Symbol.

Dante turned the Trigger Ring into its Angel mode, then he punched it into the left side of the Gate Driver. TRIGGER! GO! ANGEL! AN-AN-AN-ANGEL! The Angel Trigger magic circle appeared from the Gate Driver and moved back through Dante. He threw his arms out to the side as the magic circle transformed him into the Angel Trigger Style.

“Nice choice,” Symbol pressed the Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever, she avoided a barrage of purple energy orbs as she scanned her left glove across her Driver’s Hand Author. TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL! FULL ADVANCE D TIER SPELL! Yellow magical energy covered her left fist as she shot forward and punched the right heart. Her fist emitted a blast of yellow energy that tore through the heart and caused it to deflate.

“Ew!” squealed Symbol as she jumped away. “That has got to be the most disgusting thing I’ve ever seen!”

“Me too,” replied Dante. “SUNSET LOOK OUT!” he pressed the Trigger Ring into the back of Rebellion Magnum. ANGEL FIVE! MAGNUM STRIKE! He jumped into the air and fired a beam of energy. It cut through the air and then arched upward. It flew past Symbol and cut through an energy bolt that had been shot at her by the left heart.

“Thanks!” shouted Symbol as she pressed her Driver’s left Shift Lever once and then scanned her left glove across the Wizard Driver’s Hand Author as the left heart started charging up once more. TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL! FULL ADVANCE D TIER SPELL! The heart fired, only for Symbol to zoom to the right in a burst of speed. She shot toward the heart and gave it a somersault kick that fired a burst of yellow energy through it. The heart deflected like a balloon.

“It gets more and more disgusting each time,” muttered Dante.

“Agreed!” shouted Symbol as she pressed the Advance Timer’s thumb inward. FULL ADVANCE ARTEMIS! She reached into the Advance magic circle that appeared to her left and pulled out an Artemis weapon. Like the others, it was in the shape of a hunting rifle. It was coloured yellow with the stock having red outlines. The barrel had blue outlines while the main body had green outlines. Finally, the blade had purple outlines. The weapon had four barrels, each of which had a revolver chamber connected to the back of them.

“No fair, why do you get all of the new weapons?” whined Dante.

“I recall saying something similar when you got your second shotgun,” replied Symbol icily. Having not forgotten the mocking she had gotten for that.

Dante huffed as he punched the Trigger Ring into the back of the Rebellion Magnum. ANGEL FOUR! MAGNUM STRIKE! He took aim as light blue magical energy built up around the barrel. Then he fired a beam of sharp light that cut around through the air, carving across the centre heart as its shell opened up.

Symbol spun the first barrel of the Full Advance Artemis before snapping it closed. VERY NICE! “Let’s see what you can do!” she flew at the centre heart as it fired a massive beam. She pulled the trigger as the beam engulfed her. ADVANCE STRIKE! Slashes of yellow light appeared along the length of the energy beam before it shattered into glass-like fragments of yellow energy.

“She cut through an energy beam?!” demanded Dante.

Inside Symbol’s pocket dimension Swift Agni was speaking to his brother. “The power of her attacks had improved.”

“Indeed,” Swift Rudra concurred. “Do you think it has something to do with that new form she got when she was defeated?”

“A distinct possibility,” Swift Agni agreed with his brother. “We should probably mention it when the young master has a free moment.”

Symbol mentally reached into the pocket dimension and punched both of the guns.

“Or perhaps not,” Swift Rudra pointed out.

“Indeed!” Swift Rudra agreed. “It is not important.”

“I am certain if it is, then it will become apparent in its own time,” finished Swift Rudra.

Symbol reached down to the Advance Timer and pressed the thumb inward once more. FULL ADVANCE FORMATION! The purple Cerberus Avatar appeared and prowled around her. Then the red Agni and Rudra Avatar appeared behind her. The Cerberus Avatar phased through her backplate and the three Cerberus Mouths appeared from her chest plate. Then the Agni and Rudra Avatar wrapped its arms around Symbol, it was absorbed into her body, transforming into the Agni and Rudra Claws.

Symbol turned to her brother. “Let’s finish this!” she shouted.

“The sooner we get out of this thing, the better!” agreed Dante.

Symbol pressed down on her Driver’s left Shift Lever twice and then scanned her left glove across the Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL! FULL ADVANCE C TIER SPELL! Yellow energy gathered around the Agni-Rudra Claws as Symbol jumped into the air. She brought them down and slammed them on the ground, firing six waves of yellow energy through the floor. The heart fired a massive beam that clashed against the energy waves for several seconds.

It looked like it was going to be a draw.

Until Dante helped his family.

He punched the Trigger Ring into the back of the Rebellion Magnum and took aim. ANGEL TWO! MAGNUM STRIKE! “Take this!” he fired a spinning buzzsaw construct, it slammed into the centre heart, causing it to lose the fight.

Symbol’s attack broke through and carved six lines that glowed yellow into the heart with sparks coming from them. “Yes!” shouted Symbol.

The heart gave a roar of pain and started to charge up another attack.

“No!” shouted Symbol in anger.

The heart fired a barrage of purple energy bolts that shot into the air, they arched around then came shooting down toward the Kamen Riders.

“BLOCK IT!” shouted Dante as he punched the Trigger Ring into the back of the Rebellion Magnum. ANGEL THREE! MAGNUM STRIKE! He fired six shots of blue energy that circle around him, acting as a shield, deflecting all of the bolts that were about to hit him.

“Good idea,” replied Symbol as she pressed her Driver’s left Shift Lever twice and then scanned her left glove across the Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL! FULL ADVANCE C TIER SPELL! She covered the Agni-Rudra Claws in yellow energy and pulled them back. “HA!” she slammed them into the ground and a wall of rock appeared from the fleshy stomach.

“How is that even possible?” muttered Symbol as the wall cracked, but still held, blocking all of the bolts that would have hit the female Kamen Rider.

“Now! The finale!” shouted Symbol as she pressed down on her Driver’s left Shift Lever fives times. TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL! VERY NICE! FULL ADVANCE S TIER SPELL! THE BEST! Red, blue, green, purple and yellow magic surrounded Symbol as she jumped into the air. Constructs of the Advance Style energy clones appeared around her and shot forward in their order. “ADVANCE STRIKE END!” the clones impacted the heart and transformed into their magic circles. A large Advance magic circle appeared behind the four, smaller, magic circles. “HA!” Symbol crashed into it, the energy built up and the heart then exploded.

MAGICAL TOUCH HENSHIN! ACTIVE PLEASE! LET’S GO! Kamen Rider Symbol appeared next to her brother, back in the Active Style. She was panting, having used up a lot of energy in that last attack.

“Let’s see where we can get out of this thing, huh?” suggested Dante as the Phantom crashed.

Symbol nodded weakly.

Vergil and Arkham

The human continued to read from his book. “People once cried out in fear of this tower,” he began. “Teme-ni-gru, a foundation that brought out fear.”

Vergil stared at his unwanted partner’s back.

“Fear,” Arkham whispered in a deranged manner. He gave a slightly unstable chuckle.

Vergil was starting to get weirded out.

“Yes, mighty fear,” whispered Arkham as he snapped his book shut. He looked back to Vergil. “Can’t you feel it?”

The door rumbled as it opened.

“The rage and agony of the people,” he took a step back.

Vergil glanced around.

“Those who were confined here,” continued Arkham. “With their desires for evil being unfulfilled.”

Vergil closed his eyes in annoyance.

“It was all because Sparda and Eva slammed the door to the Phantom world in their faces,” muttered Arkham.

Vergil walked past him.

Arkham turned around and glanced over his shoulder.

Vergil noticed that Arkham was no longer following him. “What’s wrong?” asked the Kamen Rider.

Arkham was quiet for a few moments. “Nothing.”

‘Something’s off,’ shelving the matter, for now, Vergil walked further into the tower.

Arkham followed.
