Amphorae - learned a new word! You're definitely going all-out with the ancient Mediterranean theme. I'm genuinely curious as to what one of those ancient cities would look like if it was build into the side of a mountain like Canterlot.
...is this actually taking place in Canterlot, or does it have a different name in this canon? We're wading into the area where the show itself has soupy worldbuilding, with the Equestrian capital named after a legendary british court, while the country itself is a magical version of America. Question is, would you go for a ponified version of Rome, or a ponified version of Londinium?
